Great choice for budget accomodation. Nothing fancy, but you get what you pay for. If all you need is a comfy bed to sleep in and a secure place to store your luggage then this place is perfect. Shared toilet/shower and communal kitchen; but the room has a mini fridge, kettle, instant coffee and hand basin. I don't need all the extra luxuries that expensive hotels offer. Had a late check in around 2.30am which was a breeze. Pressed the buzzer on the main entrance and spoke to an employee who let me in remotely. Key was on the table in my room

The hotel is okay
the showers are strange, sometimes they stay cold for a while, and sometimes you burn by the heat.
The breakfast is simple but okay.
The rooms look like they just put drywalls in an office building.
The beds are surprisingly comfortable, atleast the ground ones, the bunker beds are not sutaible for adults.
The location is good, although to the center is still a 10-15 minute walk.
Employee's are nice and willing to help.

I was pleasantly surprised by how uncomplicated the check-in process was. I had a late check-in, and they made it incredibly easy. All the necessary information was sent to me online, and when I arrived, they simply opened the door remotely. I was able to go straight to my room, where the key was waiting for me. The room itself was basic but clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. They also kindly allowed me to leave my suitcase at the hostel while I explored the city after check-out. The staff were very kind, and I can totally recommend this place. If I return to Iceland, I will definitely stay here again.🧊🩵

Very convenient guest house near all walkable sightseeing points.

Has a communal kitchen with seating area and big stove, microwave, toaster and fridge to use.

We booked a twin eith shared bathroom & toilet, very clean! Nice hot water & towel provided. In room there was also a sink with hot & cold water.

There are pans, pots, cutlery plates, bowls and cups as well as dish soap.

Lots of restaurants & pubs nearby.

La ubicación, no se encuentra en pleno centro pero se puede ir andando perfectamente.
Las toallas que dejan en la habitación para cada huésped son de mano si tienes suerte, éramos 3 y nos dieron 2 toallas de mano y una alfombrilla para secar los pies.
Alguien nos abrió la puerta de la habitación por la noche.
Nos despertamos por el ruido de la puerta tras varios intentos fallidos de abrirla durante media hora, al final, no sabemos cómo, ya que nosotros habíamos cerrado con pestillo, consiguieron abrirla. No era un trabajador del hotel, ya que era de madrugada y era una persona vestida de calle que luego se le escuchó intentar entrar en otras habitaciones. Por suerte, en cuanto vio que estábamos despiertos cerró la puerta, pero ¿como alguien es capaz de abrir la puerta de una habitación que no es suya y que estaba cerrada con pestillo?
El lugar es barato, pero este tipo de cosas no deberían ocurrir independientemente del precio.
Por otro lado el personal de recepción ha sido muy amable.

Let me first say that this is a good option if you care about saving money on Reykjavik accommodation above all else. However, I personally don't think it's worth it considering the lack of value you get for your money. The rooms are not a major issue but the shower reeked of sulphur from the groundwater with no soap filled in the dispenser. The platform to get in the shower was also a major tripping hazard with little room to get in and out of. Personally I wouldn't recommend this hotel however it's not bad if you're penny pinching

Seriously, the worst experience ever. Dust everywhere, apparently not cleaned properly, and there was someone’s hair on the bed. The toilet pipe was leaking, and the shower tray hadn’t been properly installed! The worst part is, we booked a twin room with a private bathroom and towels, but they didn’t provide them. When I talked to the receptionist, he literally scolded me with a terrible attitude and said, “You’re not booking a Hilton; we won’t do anything.” They obviously have no respect for the agreed terms, which makes me sick! Totally ruined the mood of the trip.

Location is nice. However, the Chinese man in the lobby has a condescending tone. Rooms have no own toilet & bath. Water in the faucet (either hot nor cold) seems not treated because it smells sulfur.
