We stayed here during our time in Iceland post cruise and loved it. Super cute hotel and in great location for shopping, food, and sightseeing, definitely will stay here again!

Clean, cozy, and cute. We arrived on an early flight (6:30) and got in to Reykjavík around 8 am. The receptionist stored our luggage and told us we could check in early at 12 am after they cleaned our room. This worked great for us. We had breakfast, went to the church, and did a walking tour then returned and checked in before heading out again for our bus to the Blue Lagoon.
The rooms have coffee machines which can be tricky to use but the coffee is nice if you can figure out how to make it.
We had an overnight South Coast tour with a stay at a hotel in Hof in the middle of our trip so the receptionist let us store our big suitcase for one day/night until we checked in again.
The rooms are cozy and warm. The hotel itself is centrally located and it was easy to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. I see other reviewers complained about noise but we didn’t find it noisy when trying to sleep. We could occasionally hear people on the street if they were yelling in the evening, but not so loud that we couldn’t sleep or that it would wake us up.

Nice room with a small kitchenette for self catering. Decor was good, simple to self check-in and find the room. Would make a good base for exploring the centre of Reykjavik. I marked down a star because whilst it's nice to have facilities for cooking, there's really nowhere to sit when eating other than on the bed (certainly in the room I was in - I don't know about others). That's fine for a couple of nights but could be a drag after that and slightly defeats the purpose of having kitchen facilities...

Good rooms and a central location - you'll be able to find plenty of food options on the same street. However, our experience was a bit marred by the staff. Early in the morning we arrived, dropped our stuff off and asked the person at the front desk if we could use the restroom. Our room was not ready yet, understandably. He led us downstairs to the bathroom.

We then continued our day and came back several hours later and went down to use the bathroom again. However this time there was different staff there and as we got to the bathroom, a staff member ran down and yelled at us for using it as it was for staff only. We tried to explain that we had been shown this bathroom previously by another staff member but that was not acceptable. Overall just left a bad taste in our mouths especially because it was one of the first interactions we had in Iceland.

Brilliant hotel ,check in was 3 but we were allowed to check in early.
Hotel is a brilliant location, close to bars, restaurants and bus stops if you want to explore outside Reykjavik.
The apartments are lovely, absolutely everything you need in there and super comfy.
Had brilliant night's sleep in the bed.
We booked for my 30th birthday and I couldn't have picked anywhere better to stay.

Loved everything in this hotel, super discreet and couldn't find the hotel at first since there is no large sign to indicate where the building is at. Once inside though you have a nice large area where you can see the main Street from up above. It's literally in the middle of the night life so you can walk a block away to a nice restaurant without hearing any of the ruckus outside. Comes with a oven, mini fridge, dish washer, plates and cutlery. Definitely would stay here again in a heart beat, I will say however that shower time was a bit limited because the water wouldn't move fast enough and we did have to take turns with about 10-15 minute wait time between us both so we wouldn't flood the floor (there is no door to close--open space). They do provide their own hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Spacious bed with a nice working desk and sofa with a view of a small common area of the other building. Highly recommend

The hotel has been brilliant friendly staff and well furnished rooms everything you could ever want. Highly recommended and we only had a small studio. But well fitted and lovely bathroom. Close to all the amenities

Check in was super easy. We were caught off guard by a request for a $300 deposit. The room was basically a studio apartment with no closet, which was fine for our purpose. The place was recently renovated. Full kitchen, modern bathroom, and the most comfortable bed we had in week of staying at other places. One thing that we thought was the best was that we couldn't hear our neighbors, which was a welcome piece. The location was just outside of the city center, so if you are with someone with mobility issues, it could be too far for them to walk around.
