Bella guesthouse, in un paesino molto tranquillo, da dove poi partire per bellissime escursioni.|Camera abbastanza piccola ma pulitissima. Cucina in comune molto attrezzata. Nota negativa è che ci sono 5 stanze e una sola doccia (dove all'interno vi è anche un water, lavatrice ed asciugatrice), quindi inequivocabilmente si formano "code". Esiste un altro wc al piano superiore ma sembrerebbe più dedicato alla camera di quel piano.

Great guesthouse in one of Iceland's more remote location. Excellent owners. Excellent communication. Beds, WC, washer/dryer all good. We stayed in the upper floor that accommodates 3-4 people. Nice common space and WC. Only issue is when the bottom four rooms are full, the kitchen and commons place is crowded.

Eigentlich eine wunderbares Appartementhaus. Aber die eine Dusche und die noch mit schlechten Abfluss, für die 5 Appartements wie doch etwas wenig. Wer damit umgehen kann zu warten und wenn die Dusche nicht immer gleich den ganzen Raum unter Wasser setzt (kann man sicherlich verbessern) ein wirklich Tip zum Übernachten.

La casa e' ben arredata e con finiture ottime. Buono anche l'allestimento della cucina. Però devo dare un voto basso perché viene sovraffollata e non c'e' spazio. In cucina c'e' un piccolo tavolo da 6 posti e quando la struttura e' piena ci sono almeno 12 persone.

Lo spazio e' gestito male. Dovrebbero mettere almeno un numero di posti sufficiente a coprire tutti gli ospiti. Il tavolo andrebbe raddoppiato.

Quando ci sono stato io tutte le camere erano occupate ovvero una quadrupla e quattro doppie.

Ci sono due bagni ma solo uno ha la doccia e con la struttura piena e' davvero difficile farsi il bagno. L'attesa e' lunga. Per gestire 12 persone serve almeno una doccia in più.

Lavatrice e asciugatrice sono in bagno e quindi poco accessibili specialmente nelle ore in cui tutti devono usare il bagno, ovvero cena, dopocena e mattina.

Complessivamente la struttura e' bella. Peccato che sia poco vivibile per la scarsa attenzione alle esigenze degli ospiti e soprattutto al sovraffollamento.

abbiamo trascorso il fine settimana in questa splendida casa stile nordico dove ogni dettaglio era una piacevole scoperta! posizione fronte mare ambiente tranquillo, la casa è nuova , molto pulita completa di tutto quanto necessario per sentirsi a casa! le camere sono accoglienti ben arredate e i letti sono molto confortevoli! esperienza da fare!❤️👏👏

Ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare al Palhùs, una splendida struttura in Islanda che racchiude tutti gli elementi essenziali per un soggiorno perfetto. Questa casetta nuova di zecca è stata una scoperta incredibile, con rifiniture eccezionali e colori interni bellissimi che creano un'atmosfera calda e accogliente.

Le cinque camere sono tutte spaziose e ben arredate, e la mia camera quadrupla al piano di sopra era semplicemente incantevole. Ho avuto la fortuna di avere l'intera casetta a disposizione, il che ha reso il mio soggiorno ancora più indimenticabile.

La tranquillità che ho trovato qui è stata indescrivibile, e la bellezza della zona circostante è stata semplicemente mozzafiato. Purtroppo, in questo momento non ci sono ristoranti o strutture dove fare la spesa nelle vicinanze, ma questo è stato compensato dalla pace e dalla tranquillità che ho trovato qui.

In generale, il Palhùs è una scelta eccellente per chi cerca un'esperienza autentica in Islanda, lontano dal caos della città. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura per la sua pulizia impeccabile, le rifiniture eccezionali e la bellezza naturale circostante.

Newly renovated guesthouse, everything is new and lovely: interior, kitchen, toilet, shower, rooms. There is washing machine and tumbler that guests can use. Two bathrooms for sharing : upstairs toilet, downstairs toilet and walk in shower.
Very modern, cosy, comfortable. In our room there was also a sink which was very comfortable to have.
Four rooms downstairs and one room upstairs.
Only minuses and that's why I give four stars: drainage in the shower had some issues, so floor around it got quite wet. Also if somebody is staying upstairs, in our room you could hear walking steps upstairs. Otherwise noise isolation was just fine.
I would definitely stay there again.

Cute and newly-renovated guesthouse. There is cereal and milk for kids. The rooms have plenty darkening ability for those Iceland days when the sun does not set and you want to sleep. The views from each window are also beautiful. The walk-in shower is one of the biggest I have seen in Iceland. The floors are very clean. I do wish there was a high chair though, so that a toddler could eat more easily.
