Viðkomustaður okkar á þessum stað var frábær: eigendurnir taka vel á móti okkur, virkilega mjög hlýir og gefa mjög góð ráð um hvað við eigum að gera á svæðinu. Að auki var íbúðin okkar mjög góð: allur nauðsynlegur búnaður var á staðnum og borðspil sem og sjónvarp voru í boði. WiFi er í boði. Nuddpotturinn var mjög heitur og afslappandi! Ef þú ert að leita að gistingu á svæðinu skaltu gista í Asaskoli B&B !

Great location! Great accommodations! Great Hosts! First off, the apartment that we rented for the 6 of us was just fantastic. Loved everything that we had access to, especially if you wanted to do any cooking at the property as opposed to going out somewhere to eat. Beautiful gardens all around the property, that the wonderful hosts have plenty of details on. The property has so much character and history which the friendly hosts were happy to share details on. The hot tub is fantastic. Nothing better than coming back from the hiking all day to relax in those warm waters. The property location was fantastic. We were able to go just a little North and explore so much of the highlands that we wanted to experience. And then we were just as easily able to head to the Southern coast and hit key spots there. The hosts gave us additional guidance on what key sites to take in. Despite all the things to see, I could see myself just planting myself down at Ásaskóli just to relax. Side note, the hosts make their own Jelly/Jams. They gave us some samples when we were leaving. I think they lasted a day as our family devoured them. 😉 For larger groups like ours, coordination around one bathroom takes a little effort, but well worth it considering everything you get with this property. Will definitely return.

a cozy, clean two bedroom apartment, with a stocked kitchen and a small living room where you can read or play (they have a big variety of board games). there are some chairs and a table outside, in the rose garden, so you can have your meals outside if the weather is nice. there's also an outdoor hot bath, for the complete Icelandic experience. Nothing like a hot bath on a cool night before going to bed!
But the reason this place was chosen by the whole family as the best place we've stayed in in Iceland is the hosts - you feel as if you are their guest, and not just a customer. They helped with advice, told us about themselves and the house (it used to be the local school in the past) and just made us feel welcomed.

This guesthouse was incredible. The owners are locals that converted an old town hall into their how with a guesthouse. They were lovely people and looked after us nicely. Check out their market where they make their own items, such as rose petal jam and epsom salts, sweaters etc. Hot tub too!

We had a very comfortable stay at katrine's place. The hosting couple is charming, the place nice, warm and comfy, the surrounding amazingly beautiful. We recommend!!
