This is a quaint and delightful location. The facilities are basic but more than adequate. The beds are comfortable and there are lovely views of farmland and ponies from the windows. Good communal space (there were four of us and you could have had more). A good base for a stay in Iceland.

We stayed at this lovely guest house last week and we are really happy to say that it was a cosy place, with all the amenities that you would expect for a comfortable stay. Hosts are super responsive and very organised. Self check-in , Check-out made it very easy for us. It is in a quiet location so perfect for seeing Northern lights too. We were lucky to see them 4 nights out of 5, inspire of the cloudy, snowy weather from the comfort of our patio.

It's an excellent place to stay. Very comfortable, has a fully-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. We rented the whole house - 2 families with kids. Its location is very good for exploring Southern Iceland. The owner is very kind and is very proud of being a fourth generation farmer. The house was built by his grand grand father and renovated, but some interesting old elements and furniture remain. There are horses in the backyard, which are very friendly.

Lovely, peaceful cabin just off the route 1. The location is beautiful with a view of the endless fields and horses. The cabin was warm and cozy and the kitchen was well equipped. The hosts are very welcoming and took the time to greet us and explain everything when we arrived. A very comfortable stay- highly recommended!

We loved this place and would stay there longer if possible . Great communication with the owner. Easy access. Close to main road numer 1. Lovely house with all that you need and calm surroundings.

Beautiful, clean, tidy, comfy and private! The owners are very kind and nice, only regret staying just one night! Fully equipped kitchen (even coffee, oil, salt and pepper) towels, hair dryer, extremely warm inside (underfloor heating system).

Alquilamos esta casa en Hella (Islándia). Éramos 8 personas y nos vino genial. Es una casa conservada con muebles antiguos, pero está genial. Pertenece a la 4a. Generación del propietario.
Es una granja donde estas rodeada de caballos, vacas y perritos muy simpaticos. El dueño es muy amable y des de allí pudimos contemplar la maravillosa aurora boreal, en mas de una ocasión.

Siamo stati qui con alcuni amici a febbraio e abbiamo trovato la casa molto confortevole, spaziosa e soprattutto vicino alla Hringvegur per cui facilmente accessibile anche di inverno.
Cucina spaziosa, due bagni e 4 stanze da letto con materassi comodi e temperatura assolutamente perfetta!
Consigliato!
