Frábær gistiaðstaða. Vantar aðeins borð til að setja frá sér hluti í herberginu. Maturinn frábær og morgunverður nokkuð góður og ætti að fylgja. Takk fyrir okkur.

This place is a 5/5. Ignore what the negative people have said on here.

Me and my partner stayed here with short notice and thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms were modern, cosy and clean with an incredible view of the mountains. We paid a very reasonable price for what we got.

It seems some of the negative reviews on here for this hotel (and for other destinations around Iceland) are from moronic or simply just blind snobby holiday makers/tourists who expect far too much.

Keep in mind this review is taking from a winter visit and I imagine during the summer it is much busier. To start off, the rooms themselves were great, aside from the floor being quite cold. We were placed in a queen bed overlooking the ocean and the monument in the town. The main issue we had with the location was the remoteness, It is right next to the national park and at 6pm there were already no restaurants open. At this time, not even the Fosshotel restaurant was open. Normally there is also the hotel restaurant, but I imagine it was closed in the wintertime which is understandable because of the lack of people. Overall the hotel gave me a good nights rest and that is all I can ask for but definitely nothing special.

This winter we stayed the second time in Arnarstapi Hotel, as we enyoyed our first stay in summer 2019. The rooms are functional and clean with a great view. The staff was very friendly and kind and managed to fulfill our needs.|What we do not understand is the decision of the management not to serve dinner when the hotel is open. In wintertime there is no other possibility to have your dinner in Arnarstapi. So you have to drive to another place to eat after an exhausting day. I do not want to imagine how you could do this if driving conditions are really bad!|Thanks to the great and friendly staff, which would get five stars. Our worse rating is caused by the questionable managent decision.

Perfectly fine but if you’re budget conscious, this isn’t the place to spend extra $$. After looking at options on the peninsula, this seemed like the best option, even though it was more expensive than other options. The view was great but not really worth paying more when all we really wanted was good food and a comfy place to sleep. Did not love our meals, pretty bland overall. Also, the pillows on the bed were flat. The room was clean and the staff were friendly, but not a great value for what you get.

A aimé · Le lieu où se trouve l’hôtel est magnifique, un joli village près des falaises de bord de mer et de Snæfellsjökull. L’hôtel est assez haut de gamme et paraît quasiment neuf. Il y a un restaurant sur place. Le staff était aimable et efficace. Il était également possible de récupérer la clef directement à la porte de notre logement sans passer par la réception. Notre suite pour quatre personnes était en fait un bungalow indépendant, très confortable, propre et bien meublé. Literie correcte. Il y avait deux chambres (une chambre triple et une petite chambre simple), un salon TV kitchenette, une salle de douche avec WC et un autre WC. Notre séjour d’étape s’est bien passé et nous sommes repartis reposés.|N'a pas aimé · Le matériel de cuisson de la cuisine est un peu limité. Une grande casserole pour cuire des pâtes (par exemple) pour 4 personnes et une passoire serait très utiles. Un tire-bouchon et décapsuleur aussi.

Notre choix de séjourner dans cet hôtel a été guidé par l'espoir d'une expérience agréable, malgré les chambres modestes. Les photos sur Booking montraient des cuisines, et bien que je n'aie pas prévu de cuisiner, cela nous a rassurés quant à la possibilité de dîner sur place. Cependant, à notre arrivée, non seulement les cuisines n'existaient que sur les photos, mais le restaurant de l'hôtel avait décidé de fermer à 20h, prétendument faute de clients, dans un quartier où tous les autres restaurants étaient également fermés. C'était non seulement décevant, mais aussi frustrant de constater à quel point la réalité ne correspondait pas à ce qui avait été promis. Cette expérience a été une leçon amère sur la publicité mensongère et a laissé un goût amer quant à notre séjour dans cet établissement.
