My first Icelandic hotdog. We had stopped in to swim and soak in the hot springs at the community pool next door. After we were hungry and needed some street food to keep on walking around the city. We had a fantastic hotdog and beer. Definitely a little more refined than the typical Canadian fare we get. Loved it. Thanks so much. It was a memorable little stop on our vacation.

The staff here usually gives the bare minimum, but I think these are the nicest hotdogs I've had in Iceland. Try with the fried jalapenos!

I took my kids here. The hot dogs were fantastic! The man at the counter was friendly and funny and made sure we got to experience an Icelandic hot dog as they are supposed to be.

The staff were very friendly and helped me check to make sure the hotdogs were safe for my nut allergy! I don’t usually like hotdogs, but heard I had to try Icelandic ones. These were great and clearly a local favorite. Just ask for a normal one with everything and you’ll have a great experience.

Came here after 10pm and magic.. It was still open! Ten years passed since my first Icelandic hot dog bought here and from the first bite all the nostalgia hit me!
I recommend this treatment plan : swim at the pool, soak in hot pots, perform contrast procedures in the steam room/cold shower and when leaving the pool stuff your face with hot dogs, not necessarily in that order!

Loved the hot dogs, as well as chatting with the owner (we assumed it was the owner). We liked these hot dogs better than any other ones we tried in Iceland. The owner was also very knowledgeable in American politics, and was a great artist.

I was here October 2017. This spot was right by the guesthouse I was staying in and I've never felt luckier. It's an outdoor stand, unfortunately it was raining the night I was there. There is a small space that is inside where you can order and there are tables outside. They say it's the best hot dog and it really is. I grew up eating the Oscar Mayer dogs, a mix of pork/beef/chicken and when I tasted all beef hot dogs I thought I discovered the ultimate option. That was until I came here. Not only is the meat juicy but they put a crunch under the wienie in the sauce that kicks up the whole experience. My brother and I got 2 drinks, 3 hot dogs, and a chocolate bar for $24. That was a shock but we learned quickly how expensive Iceland is compared to where we are from.
