Great location and a very nice host. The price per person includes showers, tickets to the Viking Village, and access to the stunning Vestrahorn view.
There are only two showers available, and they operate between 18:00 and 12:00. Toilets are limited as well—two in one area and three more inside the café. The Viking Guesthouse also offers a few rooms on-site if you prefer indoor accommodation.
The cooking area is small and located outside the main building. You’re allowed to eat your own food inside the café, but cooking there isn’t permitted. I’m not sure how many electricity outlets are available, but if you arrive around 7 p.m., you should still be able to find one.
Overall, I really liked the place. It’s small, cozy, with welcoming staff and a fantastic location (though a bit windy). I definitely recommend staying here.

No STOVE! Area is extremely beautiful, the landscape is absolutely breathtaking. From the mountains to the black sand beach. The camping site itself has 2 showers, toilets, gathering area and a small roofed space in which you can bring ur stuff to cook. There’s a sink as well. A lot of activities to see and do.

This used to be one of my favorite campgrounds years ago, however unfortunately it had the same fate as many others: camping guests increased by a lot, so did the price (currently 2800 isk pP). What did not increase is the available facilities: there are just two showers with very low water pressure and lots of mold for the whole campground. On the plus side the ticked to drive to stokksnes is included in the price. If this campground was properly maintained, the price lower and more facilites it could easily be 5*.

Überragender Campingplatz 2.800 pro Person, keine versteckten Gebühren. Kochstelle inkl. Mikrowelle und Dusche inklusive. Dazu ein freier Eintritt zum Strand und dem Vikinger Dorf. Letzteres für mich tatsächlich ein kleines Highlight in Island. Kann den Camping Platz nur empfehlen, allerdings nicht so viele Stellplätze, daher lohnt sich früh kommen und dann z.B. zum Strand.

Загалом затишний кемпінг, який ще розширюється і розвивається. В чудовій заповідній зоні, ціна вʼїзду до села вікінгів і чорних пляжів входить в проживання.
Спочатку на. Насторожили 6 км ґрунтової дороги і не хороші відгуки саме про дорогу. На автобудинку 7,5 м, було доїхати без проблем, ґрунтова, але добре утрамбована ( відео).

Кемпінг має 2і паркувальні зони, але недостатнього підключена до електрики ( по 4 точки в кожній зоні), тому рекомендую одразу онлай бронювати місце зі світлом.
Є зони для готування їжі невеликі і умивальники з холодною водою ( будиночок в зоні паркінгу), а також окремо в основній будівлі з гарячою водою санвузли, душові, зона для миття посуду. Єдине , витяжки в душових не справляються, що створює вологу і плісняву на стелі, а загалом все чисто і охайно.
Привітний персонал і кафе з смачною , хоч по ісландськи дорогою кухнею

Коли живеш в кемпінгу, зручно ввечері прогулятись в село вікінгів без туристів

Beautiful location for a campsite at the base of mountains. Price was super reasonable around 1100isk per person without electrical hook up. We payed at an electronic kiosk. The tickets give you access to the Viking park which I think was a great asset and fun thing to do the next day before we started on our day. They have very clean bathrooms which showers that are open till 2100 I believe. In the morning they gave a cute cafe attached where you can get caffeine and a little snack or some really cute souvenirs. Definitely recommend for anyone staying in a camper van.

Camping wise, it's pretty bare bones. Stoves do not work, 2 out of the 3 camping pits are just the parking lot for the café. Which means people coming and going right next to you.

Bathrooms and showers were clean when I visited but a little dated and I can see how they can get crowded quick.

You get the entrance to their park which kinda levels the value for money but if I'm completely honest this is the only thing close to a tourist trap I've encountered in Iceland. Vestrahorn is a stunning location but it's Iceland, the Viking village didn't do it for me.

If you're a hiker, you might as well skip it, the moderate trail they advertise in their site STARTS 5 miles away from the parking lot and there is no markings to get to it.

Der Campingplatz liegt hervorragend im Stokkness zu besichtigen und das Vikingerdorf. Es gibt viele Plätze die absolut eben sind.
Im Preis ist der Weg zum Vikingerdorf und Stokkness inklusive.
Das Restaurant bzw. Bar gegenüber ist auch super und das Bier lecker 🤤
Alle hier sind super freundlich und man fühlt sich wohl.
