Við vorum að gista eina nótt í ferðinni okkar um Vesturland.
Góður og notalegur staður, vingjarnleg kona, sem tók á móti okkur. Hrein og þægilegt herbergi, eldhús með allt búnað.

The owner was very nice and the kitchen had everything you could wish for. We arrived on the Beginning of October, so the town was very empty and there weren't many activities. There is a big table and a big TV you can watch something on. The house is old but the owner told us that the heating system was renewed.

Top class place. Rooms cosy and house so warm and inviting. Great location for quick walk about the place. Just sorry I had to cut my trip so short. Can't wait to get back.

Une déception tant sur le manque de charme et l’ambiance de cette guest house très désuet.
L’eau déborde du cabine douche - absence de racloir et de tapis et j’ai utilisé une serviette personnelle pour essuyer. Je déconseille cet établissement qui fait peu d’effort pour les hôtes.
Aucun prospectus ni de livres sur le village.
Rapport qualité pas interessant par rapport à ce qu’on a fait ailleurs

My family and I spent a night here under the sleeping bag accommodation. The room was adequate with a sink included but there was dust in the corners. Other sleeping bag accommodation we used provided pillows. This does not. My son complained of varying temperatures in the shower. There was a bit of a musty odor about the kitchen area. ||||Views seem to be of the back streets of town. ||||The host is pleasant. Her garden is lovely.

The building was cold when we arrived but the room was a nice size. The towels were VERY rough (think loofa sponge). The doorless shower leaked beyond the shower floor even with the shower head angled against the back wall. The breakfast could be improved with a few different fruits (cut-up bananas were the only choice), more yogurt and peanut butter. The guesthouse owner and her assistant, Coletta, were welcoming and friendly. A few adjustments could make this a desirable guesthouse.

Se encuentra en Thingeyri, a mitad del recorrido de los fiordos. La habitación pequeña pero confortable pero el baño era como de juguete: el lavabo más pequeño que he visto en mi vida y casi dentro de la ducha y pegado al vater. El desayuno bastante básico. Un poco de ruido de la puerta que da afuera y del resto de habitaciones. No es mal sitio para poder seguir luego hacia las Dijandi Falls pero ojo a la carretera que hay que coger para llegar.

Nous sommes arrivés en début d'après-midi. Porte fermée et notice comme quoi il fallait téléphoner. C'est fort bien, mais nous n'avons pas de mobile. Nous sommes redescendus à la station-service épicerie qui a téléphoné pour nous annoncer, et nous somme remontés au guesthouse. La dame était fort aimable, la maison était vide en cette saison, fin août. Belle situation, mais chambre assez simple quoique propre. Petit déjeuner juste correct. Au lieu de rester deux nuits, nous n'en avons passé qu'une seule ici.
