We had a fantastic day today with Sleipnir. They are the only tour operator that is able to drive all the way to the glacier in mid-winter. We had wonderful weather a wonderful tourguide and an absolutely amazing experiences with some of the most fantastic views I have ever seen. The pictures say it all. Absolute must do when in Iceland in the winter.

We had a lovely time on the glacier with our friendly host Erla. The weather cleared and we diverted to an undisturbed spot with amazing views. All in all it was a fantastic experience

Thank you for an amazing experience! I enjoyed a comfortable drive with great views, saw a natural ice cave, and was sledding on the snowy landscapes on top of the glacier. I was there on a cloudy/ snowy day and, as far as I could see, everything was white with almost no difference between sky and ground – definitely an experience to see these landscapes! The driver and guide were friendly and knowledgeable. Upon my questions the guide shared interesting information about the geology of the ice cave with me, so I encourage to ask any questions you might have.

Thank you Sleipnir for a great trip. I highly recommend the Red Truck trip, comfortable, warm, clean, large windows with beautiful views. I've been on several trips to the glacier, but I've never had one so comfortable. A super nice guide talked about the trip and interesting facts and legends of Iceland, answered all questions. A short visit to a natural glacier cave and return to the meeting point. Tourists who needed got crampons- and that's a super good thing because the stairs to the cave were super slippery. The entire trip lasts over 3.5 hours, so I recommend going to the toilet before the trip 😉

Roger is a great tour guide with the best driver in Iceland. Roger told us a lot stories and introduced the monster truck in detail. Get there and have fun!
