Nice at first appearance. Clean and well decorated. But very small with the sofa bed opened to accommodate three of us. We had to move the table around to get suitcases around it.
I loved that it had separate rubbish containers for recycling but they all still had rubbish from the last guest in them.
It wasn’t as warm as we would have liked and we couldn’t turn the heaters on.
Plenty of crockery and kitchen supplies, especially as many travellers like us, stay there before heading to the airport to leave Iceland, and leave a lot of food behind.
There was nowhere to hang the tea towel though.
The light in the bathroom relies on a sensor and it turned off while my friend was in the shower, as the sensor doesn't reach the shower.
There were plenty of towels and hooks to hang them, as well as shelf space to leave toiletries.
Very convenient if you need to be at the airport early the next morning.

Un séjour parfait dans cette guest house ! Le logement est d'un confort absolu, très chaleureux, avec une atmosphère douce et apaisante. L'accueil de notre hôte, toujours souriante et aux petits soins, a été des plus agréables. Elle a pris le temps de tout bien nous expliquer, avec une gentillesse qui fait vraiment plaisir à voir. La chambre est impeccable, bien équipée, avec à disposition de l'eau, du café et du thé, le tout dans une propreté irréprochable. La décoration est choisie avec beaucoup de goût, et l'ambiance créée est celle d'un cocon où l'on se sent instantanément bien. Le lit est d'une douceur et d'un confort rares, j'ai rarement aussi bien dormi dans un autre lit que le mien. De plus, la localisation à seulement 7 minutes de l'aéroport est idéale pour un départ matinal ou une arrivée tardive. On sent que notre hôte aime partager et qu'elle met tout son cœur à rendre ce lieu accueillant et soigné.

Very convenient location less than 10 minutes drive from the airport on a quiet street one block from a grocery store and two blocks from shops, restaurants, parks and the water. Our room had coffee, tea and a fridge and the bed was very comfortable. Apple TV and WiFi were very good. The bathroom was large and modern with a great shower. The owner Mrs. Bernhard was very friendly, helpful and kind. We appreciated the free drive to the airport which she provided. Excellent place to stay in Keflavik!

沒想到屋主是對老夫妻，也真的不好意思因為行程的更動導致check in的時間已經影響到屋主的睡眠，雖然如此但老太太依然親切地介紹屋況、設施與說明；由於我們是隔天清晨就要出發去機場，所以幾乎沒什麼使用房內設施、衛浴設備，但卻紮實好好地休息，感謝老夫妻的接待，此住宿的位置也離機場很近，真心覺得很幸運能夠來到這裡。

Very friendly and welcoming owners. The room and bathroom were nice and well-maintened with modern furniture. The center of Keflavik is around the corner, but the guesthouse is not on a busy street. We really appreciated the owner dropping us off at the airport early morning.

A. Bernhard Guest House. Il monolocale in cui abbiamo soggiornato è arredato con cura, non manca nulla nel frigo era presente un po di tutto.. Appartamento Pulito con una posizione perfetta come punto di arrivo in Islanda o punto di partenza per fine vacanza. Consigliato

Das wichtigste zuerst: empfehlenswert

Wir begannen unsere Reise hier und waren erst überrascht wie simple das Zimmer eingerichtet ist aber lernten schnell über unsere Reise, dass das Zimmer (Doppelbettzimmer) im Vergleich zu anderen Hostels und co luxuriös ist. Im Gang gibt es kostenlos Tee und Kaffee (keine Selbstverständlichkeit) ebenfalls gab es eine warme Dusche mit genügend Platz. Das Zimmer war groß genug für unsere Koffer und ein Bonus (Einkaufsladen) ist direkt neben an. Es war für uns der perfekte Ort um nachts auf Iceland anzukommen.
Zu den Kommentaren zum Gastgeber:
Wir wurden zwar mit einem mürrischer „Hey“ begrüßt aber es war auch schon 1am. Morgens begrüßte er uns jedoch nochmals herzlich und man führte noch ein angenehmes Gespräch. Wir empfanden ihn unterm Strich als offen, und wohlwollend:)

I found A.Bernhard Bed and Breakfast amazing. The house rules of removing shoes and being respectful actually made me feel more welcome. Host's were not intrusive and it felt more like staying in a family home than a guest house. We stayed in the private room with it's own shower, amazing room and cleanliness is second to none. Close to the airport, with the bus stop being literally around the corner. I would not think twice about staying here again. If the hosts read this review thank you for making our stay in your beautiful country even more special.
