Elisabeth was a wonderful host. Her enthusiasm and professionalism stayed with us throughout our stay. The service was perfect (and so were the cookies!?). We can wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von der Gastgeberin Elisabeth empfangen. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste und hatten das ganze Häuschen für uns alleine. Wir durften das Zimmer auslesen, es war klein aber super sauber. Betten tiptop, Badezimmer ebenso.|Das Frühstück war das Beste das wir in Island gegessen haben. Elisabeth hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Brot und Marmelade war selbstgemscht, super lecker. Ihre Kekse ein Hammer.|Diese Unterkunft können wir jedem empfehlen.

This lovely guesthouse is a gem. The rooms are clean, warm and cosy. But the best part of the stay is the lovely host Elisabeth. She offered to prepare us dinner, because the stay is away from any other restaurants. She allowed us access to the washer and drier, so we could clean and dry our bathing suits and towels. All the little handmade details, the selected decorations and dishes give this place a special soul. The breakfast was delicious, with everything you could want. 10/10 would recommend this stay.

This is the best guesthouse on our ring road trip! The room has private bathroom, very confortable bed. The breakfast is very good. All the handmade products from the owner Elisabeth are perfect : the soap, the woolen socks, the cookies, and so many other details. Elisabeth & her daughter are very welcoming and hearty. Abbiamo prenotato questa guest house dopo aver letto molti commenti entusiasti degli ospiti che vi avevano soggiornato. Non possiamo che confermare ciò che ci ha portato qui! Una struttura semplice ma molto curata, che mette a contatto con la vita agreste islandese (anche per i nostri bambini è stato molto bello vedere gli animali e respirare la vita che si fa in una fattoria). Noi avevamo prenotato anche cena e colazione ed è stato un vero piacere assaggiare le prelibatezze cucinate da Elisabeth e preparate con tanta cura. Lei è stata davvero gentilissima e molto disponibile: il cuore che ci mette fa brillare questa guest house, che rimarrà certamente nei nostri ricordi di viaggio.

This was without a doubt the best accommodation we stayed at during our recent trip to Iceland. The rooms were lovely, clean and cosy, the location is beautiful and quiet. However, the absolute highlight was the hospitality of the host Elisabeth - she was incredibly welcoming and kind from start to finish and the dinner she prepared for us was out of this world. An absolutely outstanding guest house that we 100% recommend!

Very good room in a separate building on a farm. Easy to find, very close to the road but quiet. Amazing breakfast with home made breads, marmalades… ||Possibility to buy home made gifts. Great logo representing the sign they use to recognise their sheep.

We stayed here for one night on our trip around the Ring Road. This guesthouse is in a separate building from the owner's residence on a working farm with sheep. The guesthouse has 3 separate rooms with private bathrooms. There is a small common area and small breakfast/dining nook. Elisabeth, the hostess is a lovely woman who has the gift of hospitality. She made us a delicious fish dinner (extra cost) and breakfast with her own homemade jams. Our room was simple, quiet and comfortable. The views of the snow-capped mountains from this valley are stunning and make you think you are in Switzerland.
