I had a mostly good experience at the Reykjavik Rainbow. My room was upgraded to a double because the guest already in the single room added a night. The room was well appointed and the bed very comfortable. The view from my corner room was very nice.||||However, noise in the house travels too well. Every door opening and shutting, every key turning in a lock would echo through the house.||||Add to that, the windows are single-paned and this house is located in the heart of the downtown area. That is convenient for tourists to get around, but it's also near to bars of which many stay open until 5 and 6 am on the weekends. The streets around the Rainbow are a major thoroughfare for loud and drunken individuals. Even if I had brought a white noise machine, it would not have covered these voices. Saturday night had to sleep with ear buds listening to music all night to catch a few winks.||||Other than the noise issue, the house was kept clean. Other tenants were moderately clean in the common kitchen.||||If I was a party animal or a deep sleeper, I would stay here again. But as I'm an olden person who needs her sleep, I think I'll choose a quieter part of town next time.

There are two stories in Reykjavik Rainbow. Upstairs had (if i remembered correctly) 5 smaller rooms sharing one bathroom, and the first floor had two rooms which sleeps 4 sharing one bathroom.||My group of four had the room on the first floor and it was comfortable. The room was spacious enough for us to open our huge suitcases at the same time with no issues.||The only issue we had with the room was that when we arrived, the dustbin was not emptied out...||The place may be a little hard to find as the name is not displayed prominently. But it is conveniently located, and nearby many restaurants and shops.||If you are not able to sleep with noises, this may not be the best place for you. It’s located right by 2 roads and at night, many party revellers passes by.

Reasonably nice guest house with shared bathrooms and shared kitchen. Some parking across the street otherwise you have to find a spot on the street. I think someone stole one of our rental car hubcaps there (at least that is when we noticed it missing!). Very clean, good location. Check in was automated - I got an email giving me the door code and room number. all worked just fine.

Very honest management. Generally Clean , but small rooms. No breakfast or morning coffee/tea. Older furniture. Paper thin walls. Even with great next door neighbors, sleep interrupted by entry and exit of rooms. Shared bathrooms, so waiting possible. Hard sofa/bed. Sleep difficult. Would recommend avoiding bedroom #4 For that reason.

Our room was cute and cozy with a little balcony outside. The kitchen is fully-equipped. It's a very nice place to stay!

沒有招牌只有窗戶和門上有彩虹標誌，很容易錯過，房間空間大，但插頭很少，廚房設備應有盡有，很適合自己下廚煮省餐費。浴室沒有備品，請自備。

Is tidy and clean... kitchen is full of kitchenware which provide for us to cook ourself. Nice loc, close with Laugavegur, also able to walk to Harpa concert hall. Near with Bonus supermarket also. Just don’t have free carpark.

Non credo si possa chiamare guesthouse visto che non c è nessuna reception. È una casa nel centro di Reykjavik con delle stanze che vengono affittate. Tutto molto pulito e bella la camera.
