Skeggi apartments - Reykjavík

Have recently got back from Reykjavík where me and my wife stayed at Skeggi apartments. The apartments are very conveniently located on the edge of the city centre, so a 5 minute walk and your in amongst the shops and restaurants etc. The room we stayed in was the studio, nothing fancy, but had everything we needed for a base while exploring this beautiful country. ||Had a large bathroom with towels, comfy bed and a kitchenette which included toaster, kettle, filter coffee machine, electric hob and microwave. Also had pots and pans, plates and cutlery etc. Room was warm and apartments themselves were easy to find using google maps, had 4g on my phone almost everywhere on the island 👌🏼. ||We hired a car from the airport for our 4 days in Iceland and another bonus of these apartments is that you can park right outside on the street, free of charge. ||Overall for the very reasonable price of these apartments we were very happy with our choice. Great pad for exploring from and would definitely stay again. Thanks for having us.

My wife and I stayed in 2B Apartment (ground floor) over the Easter long weekend. We had heard about how expensive Iceland was so we decided to rent an apartment where we could prepare our meals each day....Skeggi apartments were ideal. 5 mins walk from one of the main streets, 2mins walk from one of the main swimming pools and easy access (no need to go in through the city centre) to the main routes to visit the rest of Iceland. The apartment was lovely and warm too (I think this is due to it being partly underground. As with most places in Iceland, there was a bit of a smell from the hot water, but the cold water was so nice to drink. The bed was really comfortable, the shower was good and the kitchen area was perfect for cooking and prepping food. The TV also had Netflix which was very handy after a long day of touring around the country. All in all it was a great base for our stay in Iceland.

Lovely flat, nice and cozy. Big and comfortable bed, decent kitchen, nice bathroom. Great location, yards from The Roadhouse (my sons favourite eaterie) supermarket less than 5 minutes walk and a couple of minutes more to the main shopping street. Coach station only 10 minutes walk so all in all a great place to stay. Highly recommended

The apartment is very cute, easy to find, easy to access, staff is super responsive, and perfect for our week stay. We wish we would have skipped the other place and stayed here the extra night! The parking is right in front of the apartment as well, with close walking distance to everything!
