The staff are great, friendly, and helpful with information about both the area as well as the surrounding countryside. A few things we found that we had issues with were that they seemed to be missing about half the black out curtains in the room so there was still a ton of light coming in from the city (would be exponentially worse in the summer when the sun rarely sets) and the windows did not close tightly so noise and wind were able to come into the room.

Fabulous hotel. Lovely staff couldn’t have been more helpful, went above and beyond. If I go back to Reykjavik again I will 100% stay at this hotel. Right in the centre great location. Rooms were spacious and warm. Really enjoyed our stay there.

We had a wonderful stay here. The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful to us on our trip.

Other reviews have complained about noise , honestly, I slept so well and I get woken up easily. The hotel is in the middle of Reykjavík where people go to party and there is a lot of tourists there is also a church opposite that dings every 15 mins or so. It's really no big deal.

The hotel even provide you with ear plugs to help you sleep.

I really loved it here and we plan to come back asap

This hotel was great, what made it so fantastic was the staff and their efforts to treat their guests exceptionally well. They excelled at this. The hotel itself was a very short walk from Bus Stop #1 (City Hall). The town of Reykjavik was super cool with great restaurants, wonderful shops and super kind people. The rooms here were well appointed and very comfortable. I can't wait to come back and I will not need to research a hotel, I'll stay at the Kvosin! Thank you all for making this such a wonderful stay!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Kvosin Downtown Hotel at the end of October! The location is just perfect - easy walk to various restaurants and activities. The staff was very friendly and informative. The room was wonderful and comfortable. We'd totally stay again!

The service at this hotel was amazing. It is centrally located and you can walk to restuarants, shops and the church. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. But it truly was the service we received checking in, checking out and everything in between that made our stay great!!

We had such a wonderful time staying here. The 2 rooms we had (the bigger room) were spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable.

The staff were an absolute pleasure to meet and very helpful with all their suggestions.
