this place is perfectly located to tour the golden circle. the kitchen has all that one would need to cook a great meal, the rooms are small - but have comfortable beds, there are cleanish hot pools on the premises - which were great for relaxing at the end of a day touring. the shared bathroom was usually available within reasonable time. important to note that the showers are located in the yard (outside) by the hotpools. sometimes a bit cold to go outdoors to shower - altho there is heating in the shower rooms. the water does warm up. one must be patient, though. our first night was a bit less pleasant because a large group came for a sweat large ceremony on the premises - so people were coming and going to the showers while we were in the pools. later - a large group came and went through the kitchen of the place we were staying. the second night was pleasant because no such activities took place and things were quieter. apparently the sweat lodge activities are frequent - ccording to their facebook site. so before booking - you may want to check activities in order to decide what will be suitable. we had trouble finding the location. once we were directed by a neighboring resort' we corrected the directions given by waze. so now - it should be easier to find.

Great Airbnb, very clean and spacious. Pool water temperature was sometimes too hot and hard to control, but otherwise an amazing place to stay!

I cannot express enough my gratitude to Valur and his wife, and friend Leila for the most beautiful Workshop experience at their Lodge! We were met right on time for a group pick-up from downtown and enjoyed the 2 hour drive through beautiful Iceland to the Lodge! Valur was extremely informative and eager to answer all of our questions and curiosities about the native culture and history. The Lodge itself, is very clean and with ample space for a group event, with two kitchens and plenty of beds for sleeping accommodations. On our arrival, the first evening was organized to having a Sweat lodge, yes, in the middle of winter!! Followed by a swim in their Geothermal Pool, an extreme treat! The food was catered from the local restaurants with plenty for everyone and with added Icelandic Kombucha! I cannot wait to return in the summer to meet Iceland once again, although I do believe my love to Iceland is in its Winter. A remarkable team and a beautiful Lodge for any occasion!

Lovely welcoming people. The room was small but cosy. There is a shared bathroom next to the room but showers are outside next the naturally hot pool (38°). Shared kitchen and living room with everything you need. House is beautiful. It was a pleasure to spend two nights in this peaceful place.|Note that this place is also called "natural spa guesthouse" and there is signs indicating the direction.

Das Sacred Seed ist ein eher einfaches Gasthaus im Golden Circle, welches jedoch einen sehr herzlichen Gasthaus Papa hat und wunderbare heiße Quellen.||||Lage||Der Weg zum Gasthaus ist nicht asphaltiert, benötigt aber kein Allrad. Mit einem Kleinwagen ist der Weg machbar. Man muss ca. 3-5km auf einem breiten Schotterweg fahren. Das Gasthaus hat keine Nachbarn und ist wirklich im Nirgendwo. Es gibt keine Essensmöglichkeiten in Fußnähe, man muss fahren.||||Unterkunft||Alles ist sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind klein aber gemütlich! Das Gemeinschaftsbad ist sehr sauber. Die Toilette befindet sich drinnen neben den Zimmern, die Dusche außen an den heißen Quellen. Es gibt auch eine Gemeinschaftsküche die genutzt werden kann.||||Die heißen Quellen||Wohl das Highlight überhaupt an dieser Unterkunft sind die heißen Quellen. 2 Becken die direkt von einem heißen Fluss gefüllt werden. Ein einmaliges Erlebnis und viel privater als die Blaue Lagune o.ä. Man kann die Becken bis zum späten Abend nutzen. Einfach einmalig!!

This home was so accommodating with all the amenities one could ask for. We were from the USA, visiting Iceland for the first time (for our daughter's wedding). We had the whole house to ourselves: twelve adults and two children with us in total. This house was perfect for all of us, with eight bedrooms and two bathrooms. There were two seperate kitchens with plenty of dishes and cooking necesssities to go around.The heated pool was marvelously warm...not bathtub warm, but really warm! Nice! The sauna was extremly nice as well. Outdoor showers, but they were conveniently located near the pool area. The inside of the house was nice and warm too, so you were never chilly. The temperature was ajustable. The house was very clean and beds were comfy. I would highly recommend the Sacred Seed. Wish I had photos to share but I was too busy enjoying myself!

We loved our time at the Sacred Seed! The host was so kind and gave us a tour of the place as soon as we arrived. The kitchen was great and the beds comfy. The best part was probably the pool that is filled with water from a hot spring. You can float around for hours!

La localización es buena, aunque está pelín mal señalizado para llegar. Es una casa con mucho potencial pero sinceramente bastante mal gestionada porque estaba bastante sucia. Si te toca en habitación de arriba, como nosotros, tiene unas escaleras bastante estrechas y muy empinadas. Lo mejor son las piscinas grande y pequeña con agua caliente. Sólo hay duchas al lado de las piscinas y tampoco están muy limpias.
