Extremely clean. Staff was amazing! Your room isn’t maintained like a hotel, but the staff is happy to replace towels and clean as you request. The kitchen as areas for your food, and also shared food areas to cut down on food waste. Wi-Fi was strong. Several restaurants in walking distance and convenient to hop on the road and enjoy Iceland’s nature! Highly recommend!!!

Everything was tip top! Our first visit to Iceland - terrific hosts, extremely clean, really great location near highway under 15 minutes from Reykjavik. Didn't realize there was big breakfast provided - meat, cheese, cereals, breads.... Very nice clean kitchenette, really a kitchen with tables. Super low-key. I traveled a lot for business and didn't want the fuss of a hotel where it would take 20 minutes to get outside. This fit the bill exactly.||||Another great thing about the location - there's Ikea and Costco around the corner if you want to save money on food. We ate at Ikea and got food from Costco for our shelf in the fridge and had a couple of quiet meals in the kitchenette. There was a nice table of brochures in the hall I made good use of.||||I would classify it as a budget hotel in the sense it's a terrific value, but nothing about it was cheap or poorly done. It compares well with any hotel I've stayed at, with none of the fuss.||||Incredible beginner's luck we chose this place our 1st trip!

Hemos estado en una habitación cuádruple bastante grande y cómoda con baño privado. El wifi iba muy bien. Hay una cocina compartida muy maja, donde hemos cenado nuestra comida, hay cerca varios supermercados. El desayuno está incluido y está bastante bien. Está en las afueras de la capital, pero muy cerca, a 10 min en coche. Relación calidad precio para ser Islandia buena.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good (sandwich meats/cheeses/breads, cereals, fruit, vegetables, milk, creamer, juice, coffee/tea/hot cocoa, cookies/biscuits etc). Wifi was a little weak in our room, but strong enough in the dining area or lounge area. We never saw the owners, but it would have been neat to meet them. It almost felt like elves restocked kitchen and cleaned the hotel daily. Important note - two days before arrival you will receive an email with an access code to the hotel. Make sure you check your emails and remember the code. Location was very convenient but we had a car so we could get anywhere really quick and easy. Good grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance. Absolutely would stay here again!

Nicht vom äußeren Eindruck täuschen lassen. Die Unterkunft bietet eine preislich attraktive Möglichkeit um erst einmal in Island anzukommen und nicht gleich im teuren Reykjavik übernachten zu müssen. Ist gut ausgestattet und hat ein eigenes Badezimmer. Parkplätze direkt vor der Unterkunft.||Es hat einige Restaurants in der Umgebung die gut zu Fuß zu erreichen sind. ||Die Unterkunft verfügt über keinen Fahrstuhl, die Zimmer liegen alle im 1. OG. Die Instruktion per Mail für den Zimmerbezug ist klar und verständlich. ||Check out ist gleich unten im Mietwagenoffice und verlief ohne Probleme. ||Mit dem Mietwagen braucht man max. 15 Minuten bis in die Hauptstadt.||Frühstück wird nicht angeboten, die Unterkunft verfügt aber über eine Gemeinschaftsküche. ||Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Hauptstraße hin, wodurch Motorlärm zu hören war, dies hat jedoch den Schlaf nicht beeinträchtigt.
