Frábært gistiheimili. Gisti 1 nótt. Allt tandurhreint. Herbergið rúmgott, góð rúm og góður morgunverður. Eigendur sérstaklega alúðlegir og vingjarnlegir. Mun örugglega skoða þennan möguleika næst þegar ég þarf gistingu á Skaganum. Mæli hiklaust með þessari gistingu.

Our best stay in Iceland. Very helpful and friendly host, clean bathroom and rooms, the best breakfast we had during our stay in Iceland, we tried a typical islandic herring here (probably bought in the shop, however still great experience)

The host was extremely helpful. When I booked I wrote one vegetarian and she bought special vegan options for me. There were also multiple different vegetables and fruits for everyone to eat. We have stayed in multiple guesthouses here in Iceland and this was the best breakfast.

Host was very kind and the rooms were very clean. Even though the bathroom was shared didn't have much trouble, well coordinated among us.The breakfast was good with healthy options for fruits and vegetables. I liked the anchovies. Nice location and we got opportunity to meet people from different parts of the world. Breakfast time was fun as we had great people stayed we all shared our adventures.|||| We had to get drinking water from the downstairs bathroom in the night, it would have been better to have water filled in a container for the guests.

We stopped for one night in the homely Akra Guesthouse in February. Whilst there was a heavy snowstorm outside we were toasty warm in our triple room (one of five bedrooms that are let). There's a shared bathroom on the first floor and a toilet on the ground floor.||||We enjoyed a great selection of breakfast options (cereal, smoked salmon, jams, cheese, cooked meats etc.) and there was a toaster for us to use. The coffee was good and there was a range of tea options on offer.||||The wi-fi worked well and our hosts were friendly. We enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend to others who like staying with local people. Booking through an agent we were charged twice for the room but on contacting the owners it was clear this was an honest mistake and we were quickly refunded.||||Thanks also to the owners for helping to dig our hire car out after Iceland received a massive snowfall. All part of the service!

We arrived here late and all restaurants closed but the host (forgotten her name) did offer solutions. We had a living area with a microwave, kettle and toaster. Room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was a buffet style with fish, eggs, cold meat, selection of bread, pancakes,cheese and fruit. As we were leaving had a lovely conversation with the host such a lovely stay. Would recommend here.

We stayed 2 nights and had a lovely time. Good hosts, comfy beds, lovely breakfast and very clean. Our son was playing at a football match so they offered us to have the breakfast early. Our sons loved the place, the big closed garden where they could play. There is a private parking. No kitchen to cook but you have a 24/7 microwave, coffee, hot chocolate & tea. As well as they have a small fridge. We wore so lucky to get the good weather so we could go to the beach 🙂 Definitely going again.
