Rooms are clean and tidy, with good sound insulation. Shared dining area is tidy enough. Cooking facilities have a lot more to be desired with deformed fry pans and only one bubbled up spatula. The hot tub was also empty despite it being listed as a facility.

It is a difficult review. The place was cheap for sure, but it did come at a price. It was in the middle of nowhere, which meant great views but you have to drive half an hour to Akyreyri.||Self check-in, we did not see any staff the whole time. Showers were kind of awful, there was coffee but despite the signs no kitchen so you could make your own breakfast. Pool table was worn to pieces.||I don't know, the place just felt cold and empty, even though all the decorations and furniture fit nicely together and it was artsy.||I'd go somewhere else, but as I said, it was cheap.||DO NOT go to the van though, the advertise it as some exotic experience, it is just bad.

We had a lovely stay. Good service, friendly atmosphere. The hot pot was not yet up and running, otherwise all excellent. (There are other hot springs nearby though, in Hjalteyri etc.) Great big hall for breakfast or meals.

Its a nice cozy place, and you have the honor to be welcomed by elves ? We stayed there for a night. Everything was really nice. Clean bathrooms, shared area and our room. Comfortable beds, they provide towels and shower gel. Its the best place to see auroras, due to no lights from buildings around it.

Our stay here was lovely. The self-check-in was easy and the location is great. Clean and comfortable, but also extremely homey and welcoming place. It made even just crashing here for the night relaxing and pleasant. Highly recommend!

Nice guesthouse, no breakfast have been available due to owner in holiday, but not a problem. Shower not in the room, so more a youth hostel.

A very nice place to stay a couple of days. The rooms are cozy and the beds are very comfortable.|It is very close to the sea and to the main attractions.|The host is very welcoming and helpful.|I revommand it to everybody who likes nature.

It was a comfortable and fun place with pool table and hot tub. The host is friendly and helpful. Rooms and common areas are clean and tastefully decorated. The location is close to Akureyri and near the sea. We enjoyed our stay here and recommend to book!
