The location is ideal if you want a quiet place to stay. There is a 20 minute drive to anything but the views are amazing and islands off the coast are visible from the living. Super clean and their
cute and friendly dogs greet you upon each arrival.

We had the whole house for ourselves as there were no other guests on that day. The kitchen and common area is big and comfortable. Cleaning could have been a little better in the shower but it was not that bad. The breakfast was in the main house and we could talk with the owners in their kitchen while eating. They are very nice people and we loved the dogs too. The breakfast was lovely, including 2 types of home made bread (both were fantastic), their own eggs, jams etc.

Superb guesthouse in a small village with amazing views over the mountains. Great place to wake up in the morning and prepare your breakfast. All facilities are very good and the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful. We found it perfect for us as we stayed out longer in the night for photography and we could go back anytime we wanted. Would highly recommend this place if you are visiting the southern part of Iceland.

The guesthouse is located in peaceful countryside, about 20 km from the ringroad with 6 km of unpaved road. I liked the quiet location, with only a few sheep passing by The modern guesthouse is great with a sitting room ,dinning room and a large kitchen. The bedrooms are basic, but with comfortable beds and you have hangers and large window stills to put some stuff. The only big drawback is there is only 1 bathroom with 1 shower. If all the rooms (one of them a 4 bedroom) are booked, you have to wait a long time in the morning. An extra shower would make a lot of difference.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa guesthouse 1 notte a luglio 2017. Camera ok, servizi in comune ma molto puliti. E' presente una cucina molto attrezzata (microonde, bollitore, macchinetta del caffe', stoviglie...) dove e' possibile preparare agevolmente cena e colazione. Non abbiamo usufruito del servizio colazione a pagamento fornito dai proprietari. Il proprietario molto cordiale ci ha consigliato di visitare i cuccioli della sua fattoria, esperienza che ha lasciato incantate le nostre figlie. La guesthouse e' nel nulla, immersa in un paesaggio islandese meraviglioso, una vera oasi di paradiso.

We stayed in the farmer's guesthouse. The house had everything we needed. ||Breakfirst is optional, but do it. Traditional Icelandic breakfirst 🙂 ||The wifi is a little slow. But the place is remote, so it's a part of the charm.||The view is amazing! ||The hosts where very friendly and easygoing. They gave me some advise for activities nearby. I recommend this place.

Hospedagem campestre, em um anexo de uma casa de fazenda. As acomodações são modernas e novas. Duas suites (alugadas separadamente) amplas e confortáveis, com banheiro também amplo. Uma sala central, com cozinha equipada, sofás e TV para ser dividida pelos os hóspedes das suites. Na nossa experiência, dividimos a cozinha com um outro casal de alemâes. Hospedagem indicada para pernoite. A internet não estava funcionando. Não há mercado ou restaurantes nas imediações. O mercado mais próximo e, um restaurante apenas, ficam a 35 km! Vale a dica: Traga seus ingredientes para preparar seu jantar e desjejum. O local é lindo e bucólico e você é recebido por uma ovelha! Muito atenciosa, a ovelha sempre precede os proprietários. Não há qualquer indicação de hospedagem na casa. Utilize um bom GPS e confie ao bater na porta! Mas o conforto e o silêncio compensam.
