The booked a room with private bathroom and ended up leaving 2 days early as the hotel was not as advertised. The Wi-Fi is horrible and never worked. I work remotely and the hot spot from my phone was better than the Wi-Fi on sight. We sent what's app messages to the hotel two times and they just stopped responding. The towels were dirty and they control the heat. Two of the nights the heat never turned on and the room was cold. The rooms are run down and dingy. The toilet seat was not attached and fell off anytime you used it.

L'albergo è in una posizione strategica, sono stato qui dal 14.05 al 25.05 e mi sono trovato benissimo. La comunicazione è stata veramente ottima e il personale è stato veramente gentile e professionale. Avevo la camera con bagno privato. Tutto era molto pulito e su richiesta hanno pulito la camera e cambiato gli asciugamani. Ottima la possibilità di prendere biscotti e caffè a qualsiasi ora del giorno. Ottima la colazione. Il letto era comodissimo e mi sono trovato veramente bene.

We enjoyed our brief one night stay at the Brim hotel. Luckily we had a room on the first floor so no need to navigate the stairs with luggage. Room was a little bit too warm for me even with the window open but would probably be perfect in winter. Breakfast was nice with a good selection including fruit and different breads. Staff were very responsive via whatsapp and helped us book a taxi. Only downside for us was a bit of a walk to the main city area and no tv in the room but I would still stay here again when looking for a budget hotel.

I had a very disappointing experience with the service of Brim Hotel. I contacted the hotel several times via Booking.com and also directly by email, already four weeks before my planned stay, to inform them that I would not be able to travel due to medical reasons. They requested a medical certificate, which I provided – but since then I have not received any reply at all.

To this day, I am still left with the full cost of the booking and absolutely no communication from the hotel. For me, this is not a sign of good service or guest care. Clear and respectful communication with guests should be the minimum standard, especially in such situations.

If I could rate Brim Hotel 0 stars I would have. This was hands down my worst hotel experience ever. There is no service desk, it is self check-in, and if you have any questions or concerns the few individuals cleaning the rooms hardly know English.

OUR SHOWER DID NOT WORK!!!!! The shower would almost instantly reach temperatures that you could not stand in, even when having the dial on the lowest temperature. My girlfriend got a heat rash on her leg from this. I attempted to reach out to the owner or some sort of management on several occasions but no one ever got back to me. We ended up having to shower with our sink or when visiting blue/sky lagoon.

The walls are paper thin and you can hear every time someone slams a door (very often, the doors here are not good). No tv in the room, hair dryer, or air conditioning here either.

THERE IS LITTLE TO NO PARKING. There are about 7-8 parking spots in front of the hotel. The hotel holds many more guests than this would lead you to believe. Most days, we had to leave our car in a bus zone in front of the hotel or in front of another building where there are tow away signs.

BAD LOCATION. Aside from it being a 30 minute walk to the city (60 min to the upper peninsula), we were nearly carjacked at an intersection two blocks from the hotel. A woman ran up to our car while we were at a busy red light and started pulling at our door and almost smashed the window. Luckily I had the doors locked and got lucky speeding away through the intersection.

Lastly, the owner attempted to state that they canceled our stay because of an “invalid card number”. I fully paid for the stay up front so even if my card number changed, this should not have affected our stay. Two nights into our stay, a house cleaner knocked on our door and said “time to checkout”. I had to try and bridge the language barrier to let her know we were there for 5 more nights. You can imagine how that went.

Please avoid this hotel at all costs. The price is not at all worth the experience. Like I said, this was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel and was definitely the lowlight of our trip. We dreaded coming back to this place each day. Save yourself some peace of mind and spend a little extra for a better hotel.

Just a few things to point out because it is not clear when you book. 1) Everything is self-service including check in 2) There are no elevators. This place is not disability friendly 3) Bathrooms are communal

Our room was also scorching hot and muggy because we were on the 3rd floor. There was no way to get a fan in even though we could not sleep because it was so hot inside the room. Building is dated with stains everywhere as well. Would book for an extremely budget motel experience.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL - they charged me when they shouldn't have though I had cancelled months in advance (and could up until my stay); refused to answer calls, emails, Whatsapp by myself, my travel agent, Hotels.com staff and finally my Visa card when I disputed it. The hotel promised me a refund but didn't come through and refused all further communication. I only got my money back due to my Visa card reviewing my case which took months. I think they are going out of business and charging people where they can even though I had cancelled well ahead of my planned stay.

Hôtel sans réception mais tout est bien expliqué, nous sommes rester coincé en dehors de notre chambre et une personne et venu en moins de 5 min nous aider franchement très réactif!

Une cuisine complètement équipé pour que l’on puisse manger le soir, le petit déjeuner est vraiment complet !

Rien à redire foncez !
