We had a very nice 2 nights in this guesthouse. The room was lovely - clean and right next to the shared bathroom which was really large and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, freshly prepared. View from the bedroom window was wonderful. We had a wonderful 2 days travelling around the area and then enjoyed dinner walking into town easily from the guest house - would highly recommend.|

We had an awful time finding this one as the street was hidden away and was not even on our GPS. However, once we found we really enjoyed our stay. Nice small room which was very clean and very comfortable beds. We were able to use the kitchen to cook our dinner. We had a two bathrooms that we shared, but there never was a problem. Had a great cooked breakfast that was included in the price and also free wifi. If you are coming to this area you can't do better than this place.

Nous avons logé 2 nuits dans cette guesthouse et nous en avons été enchantés. Les chambres sont confortables et relativement spacieuses. Le petit déjeuner était excellent tout comme l'accueil qui nous a été réservé. Elle se trouve à 5 min à pied du petit port et des principaux restaurant.

We stayed there for one night and had the house to ourselves. Our bedroom was very comfortable and the whole house was very good with all the amenities and very clean.|The host who doesn't stay there, came in the morning to prepare breakfast. It was great with loads of choices. |Stykkisholmur is a small typically Icelandic town really worth a stay and comfort guest house is the perfect place for the night

New, ~3 month old guest house. Shared bathrooms, which were new and clean. Rooms were great, and included pulldown shades. Location was less than a 10 minute walk to the harbor.||Breakfast was home cooked and included. It was good-- eggs, fruit, breads, coffee, yogurt, and more.||I'd recommend staying here and would stay again.

Das Gästehaus liegt etwas versteckt in der Seitenstraße. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Unser Zimmer war leider mit dem Blick auf Parkplatz. Es gab einen grossen Aufenthaltsraum mit Küche. Alles war sehr sauber. Es gab leider nur 4 Parkplätze direkt am Haus. Aber was uns nicht so richtig gefallen hat, dass war der Zimmerpreis 170,00 Euro. Es ist für isländisches B&B mit Gemeinschaftsbad definitiv zu teuer.|

La chambre est spacieuse avec plein de rangements. La salle de bain commune est grande et très jolie. Il y a une bonne insonorisation entre les chambres mais pas avec le couloir. Le petit déjeuner était vraiment bien, du pain frais maison, des omelettes, des pancakes, des gâteaux et de nombreux autres choix. ||L'accueil est très standard. A l'arrivée, nous somme obligés d'appeler qqun pour venir nous ouvrir. La personne est très gentille mais n'est pas avare de bons conseils.||Au premier abord la maison fait très neuve et rénovée mais de près les finitions restent à désirer.

The rooms are small but typical of other guest houses. The staff was friendly, but we had to call her when we arrived. That was a problem as we did not have cell service in Iceland (other guest houses had a cheap cell phone available to all in this situation). Fortunately, another guest arrived at the same time who could call. There is one large common room and a kitchen we could have used for dinner. Breakfast was included and average. I would stay here again.
