Við sonur minn gistum í tvær nætur í rólegheitum og höfðum það gott. Hann er mesti dýravinur og elskaði að fá að eiga samskipti við hunda, hænur og hesta. Sonur Coru sem er á svipuðu reki og hann var duglegur að aðstoða hann við samskiptin við dýrin og að sýna honum leiksvæðið

Hún Cora tók mjög vel á móti okkur. Það er allt svo snyrtilegt og fínt í öllum herbergjum og allt til alls í eldhúsi með útsýni til fjalla. Við vinkonurnar vorum mjög ánægðar með dvölina og munum koma fljótlega aftur.

We visited for a ride in February and had a wonderful experience 🥰 the horses are happy, well trained and obviously very well cared for. Vio, who took us out, was super knowlegable both about the horses and the countryside, so we also learned lots which was lovely. Vio also went out of her way to take photos of us on the horses which was really appreciated. When we got back from the ride, we were able to watch the horses feed and roll, we weren't rushed to leave. We can't wait to come back when we next visit Iceland 😍

We visited Iceland in the first half of November and stayed 3 nights at Cora’s House & Horses, where we had a great time. The host is nice and helpful, the room, kitchen and bathroom are clean and well equipped. Seeing Icelandic horses from so close was also a great experience. The farm is at a great location, was a good base camp to visit Reykjavík, the Golden Circle and the South shore. It is also close to food store (Bonus is 5 mins drive). Because it’s a little bit further from the town, it was also a great place to see the Northern Lights when it’s active.

Wir waren für einen mehrstündigen Ausritt hier. Den hatten wir kurzfristig gebucht. Wir waren drei Personen plus Rittführerin - sie stammte aus Deutschland wie wir. Tolle große Pferde, sehr gut und feinfühlig, keine Flausen im Kopf - einfach klasse! Wir haben einiges über die Umgebung erfahren. Es war ein Ritt über Lavafelder (Hraun), durch die Ölfusá - einen wunderschönen Fluss, dessen Delta wir z. T. im Tölt durchquert haben bis in zum schwarzen Strand am Atlantik. Wir haben uns immer sicher gefühlt mit den Pferden. Kurzes kleines Picknick am Strand und dann ging es wieder zurück. Wir waren 4-4,5 Stunden unterwegs und es war großartig. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir haben Anfang Oktober zwei Nächte bei Cora’s House and Horses verbracht und waren begeistert. Die Lage ist traumhaft, die Zimmer gemütlich, tiptop sauber und die Ausritte durch die isländische Landschaft waren ein absolutes Highlight. Cora (und auch Vio) ist eine großartige Gastgeberin, die sich wunderbar um ihre Pferde und ihre Gäste kümmert. Wer Natur, Ruhe und eine persönliche Atmosphäre sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Klare Empfehlung, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Thank you! Your place is very cosy, beautiful, warm and nice. We spend a lovely few days. Everything here is the best. We are very glad that we chose your place to our holiday. Coffee in your kitchen with so amazing view for the mountains and your horses will be always in our mind. Iceland is the most incredible place we've ever seen. We will back here for sure. Wir haben eine 2-2,5 Std Reittour gebucht (kompletter Anfänger & Mittelerfahren). Die Pferde waren perfekt für uns ausgewählt und wir haben die Tour ins Flussdelta sehr genossen. Highlights waren das Tölten und der Ritt durch den Fluss bei strahlendem Sonnenschein. Vielen Dank für das tolle Erlebnis
