Við vinkonurnar á ferð um landið okkar,fundum á booking.||Yndislegur staður ró og sæla ? langaði ekki að fara, gestgjafin tok vel á móti okkur og þau voru dasamleg og okkur leið eins og prinssum þarna sveitasælan og náttúra fullkomið fær 11 stjörnur.||Takk fyrir okkur ?

We stayed at six different places in Iceland and this one stood out because the owners were so warm and welcoming!
Our kids loved it here too, we used the private hot tub, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Cute all around!

Everyone who sees this, please stay here. The owner was so nice, humorous, ready to help! I would like to visit again if I travel to iceland again in my life. Reasonable price(which is really cheap compared to others), great facilities, view.
I especially loved the hot tub(jacuzzi) and wet sauna. Also CAT ₍˄·͈ ‧̫ ·͈˄₎

Super cozy place, room size was great. It felt like staying at home. Hot tub was a big plus and the owner was really nice to fill it for me. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We had a nice night at Country Dream. Our room although not large, was comfortable. we had 1 bedroom and a pull out sofa.... but wait....|The pull out sofa was not like any normal one where you have to pull everything off and have a bar in your back, it was a case of simply pulling a cord and the whole sofa turned upside down into a bed that was as comfortable as the bed in the bedroom. It took 20 seconds to pull out the bed and 20 seconds to put it back the next morning.||The room had a small kitchenette which was adequate for cooking a simple meal. There was also a hot tub available to use with our room.||As a bonus, we were invited to go into the stable to visit the owner's very friendly Icelandic horses. He also organised for a beautiful Icelandic Sheepdog to come and visit us.||Country Dream is on a horse farm about 5 - 15 minutes drive from the main road between Geysir and Selfoss depending on the conditions. In the right conditions, it would give a great opportunity to see the Northern lights. If you are staying here in winter, I recommend that you ask your rental car company to provide you with a car with metal beads (studs) in the tyres as the road was very icy when we left due to rainfall and freezing temperatures.

My husband and I arrived later in the evening. While we were at dinner I received an email with the location of the key to our room. When we arrived it was exactly where the email stated. Our room was in a building just off the reception area, there was 1 other bedroom and a shared bathroom. ||The beds were extremely comfortable. Both the temperature and the water pressure in the shower felt amazing after a long day of hiking.

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und wurden direkt gefragt, ob der Besitzer den Hot Pot für uns anmachen soll. Natürlich ließen wir uns die Gelegenheit nicht nehmen und genießten den Abend nur zu Zweit im Hot Pot. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Küche und alles was dazu gehörte ( natürlich über Selbstverpflegung ) . Kleiner Minuspunkt war für uns, dass wir das Zimmer nicht richtig warm bekamen, dennoch schliefen wir sehr gut. Wir würden wieder kommen. ( Stand Dez. 2023 )

Dit is een hele leuke plek! Ik en mijn vriend waren blij verrast over hoe het terrein er uit zag. We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen. De kamer was ook heel mooi, er lag een roos op het bed en de inrichting was leuk gedaan. Wij zaten in een huisje met nog 1 single kamer er naast, maar er was niemand in die kamer toen wij er sliepen. Het sanitair is heel schoon. Er is ruimte om te koken. Wij vonden het heel jammer dat we hier maar 1 nacht verbleven. Een aanrader!
