Rooms are a bit small but clean. We had booked a double room but actually had two single beds pushed together with single quilts. As others have said bathroom is very small. I am 6 ft tall and 210 pounds and it was impossible to get to my legs in that tight shower. Also it is impossible to flush anything in the bathroom. It is so easy to water the whole room when showering. We had to ask for extra towels from the reception.

We stayed here for one night however we also stayed Hilton Reykjavík Nordica for one night. When we compare the two; Hilton is the clear winner on our book. Hilton doesn’t have this sulfur smell in their shower either. I feel like I need to shower somewhere else to get rid of this smell.

I have to admit this hotel’s location is the best part of this booking, but that’s not enough for me to book this place ever again or recommend it to anyone.

This place FAR exceeded expectations. First time in Reykjavík and really had no idea where to stay. We picked this one out of random. Before even entering, we were dropped off at bus stop 13 which was about 50 meters to the front of the hotel! Great start already. Inside there is a great lobby to relax until your room is done or even take a nap as I did.

The rooms are great for 2 people. Nothing over the top but nothing to complain about at all. Comfy bed, private shower, nothing more I could’ve asked for.

Location was great as well. A few restaurants around and then just another 10 min walk on 1 road you are in the main area.

I would easily stay here again! Shout out to Kristjan who provided awesome service as well.

First time in Reykjavik in mid December and we were delighted with the hotel. The location was excellent, it was very clean and simple and the breakfast was perfect as it had everything you could want. It was so close to the main street and to the main sights that there was no need for a car and it was also just across the road from the bus stop where you get picked up for the Airport Bus and for Day trips. We had 2 rooms and we were lucky enough to be at the back of the hotel where we had a lovely open view and could also see the top of the Hallgrimskirkja. Kristjan on Reception was very kind and helpful and gave great directions and advice. Thank you Kristjan for making our stay so enjoyable! The water in the bathrooms did smell of sulphur but it is good for you and we got used to it and it did not bother us. The lounge was very welcoming and homely. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the hotel and it was a lovely relaxing break. Thank you Foss Hotel Lind we will be back!

Great hotel with everything in walking distance breakfast had a fantastic selection and staff very friendly. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable Can't fault it would stay again without hesitation. There is a bus stop pretty much across the road for all day trip pick ups.

Good location. Lovely room, but terribly small bathroom. When showering the water goes all over the bathroom and the shower to stand in is tiny.
Hot water does have the sulfur smell but this isn't a problem. Good breakfast option and late check out which was great.

Just returned from a wonderful Christmas trip to Reykjavik. The hotel and staff were fantastic, beautiful food, incredibly clean and spacious room. We stayed in the triple room (415) and found it perfect for our needs. Short walk from the lift and walk in shower. Breakfast had good choice from croissants and toast to cereal, fruit, sausages and bacon. Lots of teas and coffee available. All as pictured with lovely communal areas and a little library by the breakfast area. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. |Hotel location was great, just a short walk away from the main shopping/restaurant area and main bus stops to get around. |Anyone who stays over Christmas just be aware lots of things are closed on Christmas eve/day but we actually found there were still lots of places to eat if you looked around for a bit and there was a 24/7 supermarket a short walk away on laugavegur too.|Would definitely return as we missed golden circle due to the rough weather but this did not dampen our trip at all.

Rooms were clean and tidy, the option if requesting additional towels/cleaning of room(not something that bothers us for a few days break,the option is there.
Breakfast,couldn't fault it, such a great variety to cater for all needs.
Location is perfection.
You won't be disappointed

I stayed here for a week and was very happy with it. The location can't be beat. Right at the end of the main shopping area so it was easily accessible but not noisy. The rooms were simple but very comfortable. Someone commented on two twin beds pushed together to form a king. I've traveled all over Europe for the last few decades and have never seen anything else. Totally normal and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!
