This was one of the most comfortable places to stay during our trip around the Ring Road. The owner, Vicki, was very pleasant and fun to talk to. She gave us information on what to see and where to eat. She also was extremely generous and thoughtful, providing breakfast items including fresh bakery bread! The apartment was clean, spacious and very comfortable. There is a washer/dryer if you need it. We definitely enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone driving around Iceland!

My husband and I stayed in the first floor apartment in May 2018 for one night on our honeymoon. Our host, Vicki, was extremely friendly and welcoming, and provided us with enough stuff to make a small breakfast the next day. She gave us advice on where to get groceries, where to eat, and where we could explore. The apartment was IMMACULATE. Everything was super clean and the apartment overall was adorable and chic. We wish we could have stayed here more nights and hope to return in the future.

We cannot even tell you how pleased we were with this apartment and it's owner. Vicki is so pleasant and accommodating, she makes you feel like family. The apartment is very well stocked and Vicki provides many touches to make you welcome. There was fresh fruit, skyr, hard boiled eggs, and orange juice in the fridge as well as jam for the fresh loaf of bread on the counter. Coffee was supplied for the french press and a complimentary bottle of wine was also in the pantry. The shower was great and the bed very comfortable. This was the largest and nicest accomodation we stayed in of the 9 on our trip. You can park right outside the door and there is a handicap ramp if needed to access the apartment. An outstanding 5 star accomodation.

Lucky Iceland is so special, otherwise you may not be inclined to leave the apartment.|We stayed in apartment 1 and it is spacious, comfortable and warm. After the drive to get there you are greeted by your host who has equipped the apartment with wine, coffee, tea, hot chocolate... if you've forgotten breakfast provisions thats okay too because those are also provided. The shower is wonderful, the bed is perfect for a great night's sleep and if you just want to curl up and drink a vino the relaxing couch is perfect for that. We did manage to pull ourselves away from the apartment and get our clothes dirty exploring out there (that was okay too with a washer/dryer being available). We also prepared many of our meals in the fully equipped kitchen.|This place is the perfect place to stay it has incredible views, beautiful artwork and a gracious, helpful, knowledgeable and just plain wonderful host. We may live on the other side of the world but we hope to be back. Thank you.

Vicki is a wonderful hostess plus she had everything we could possibly need there for a good night and a great breakfast with the best bread we have had so far this trip. We wished we could have stayed a lot longer. There was a wash machine and dryer which we desperately needed, a full one-bedroom apartment and a great kitchen. We did not partake of the wine but she had put a small bottle of red wine up for us, too.

Although it looks a bit odd on the outside, the apartments are great! Lovely beds, a really good kitchen, fresh fruit and Icelandic Skyr upon arrival. A perfect place to stay for a couple of nights!!! The hostess is very friendly and you can use the washing machine/dryer.

Obwohl ich mich beim Übernachtungsdatum um einen Tag verschrieben hatte, und die Bank- Überweisung nicht gleich geklappt hatte, ist Vicki, unsere Gastgeberin immer freundlich und hilfsbereit geblieben. Wir hatten Apartement 2 und freuten uns über ein großes Zimmer mit Kücheneinrichtung, Herd und Kühlschrank. Mikrowelle ist keine vorhanden. Ein extra Schlafbereich mit Fensterfront zur Straße, aber ohne Lärmbelästigung. Ein Bad mit Waschmaschine. Alles sehr sauber. Im Kühlschrank stand alles für ein großzügiges Frühstück bereit: frische Eier, Skyr, Milch, Müsli,..... und sogar frisches Brot! Für´s Dinner bekamen wir auch Tips. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können das Posthusid sehr empfehlen.

Vicky advised "I try to make it exactly what I would like to find if I were staying in a guest house." She is exactly right. Lots of little extras and comfort. The fridge and kitchen stocked with everything we would need to make breakfast was a lovely surprise. It's beautifully appointed. The bed was comfortable. There is a washer and dryer that you are welcome to use. Thank you Vicky for being such a kind host. This would be a great place for a family also,
