Very nice drive on gravel road, beautiful scenery in the North part. Nice location with a mountain behind and beach, coast in front. Remote location provides you with an opportunity to leave the busy times behind. Nice welcome by friendly staff. Reasonable menu selection with great taste and nicely presented. The rooms are on the small side but are very clean and comfortable. The pictures on the website show room sizes. Shared bathroom as indicated on the website with a good locking system. The owner lives in the thatch roof dwelling out front. The owner was very friendly and since we stayed there, he gave us a tour of his little Scottish Tower. He was great to talk to and hear his stories. There was a table in the restaurant with tourist information and access to WiFi.

If you never experienced what a "tourist trap" is, this is the place. First of all, the location is odd, as there are no real attractions on this side of the fjord, except some seals on the far away rocks. So, driving on a long dirt road to reach it is hardly justified. The house itself is far from the shore line, access to which is blocked by other properties' fences for miles.||Yet the worst is the facility itself, presenting a dismal value. While the people managing the place reside in a house, the guests are housed in tiny portable trailers, barely 2 meters wide, with child-width beds, no private bathrooms, and tucked behind the kitchen building. The charge for the room is exorbitant, exceeding the comparable accommodations along the North Iceland by a factor of 2, at least. The same is applicable to the "restaurant" there, which is really a simple kitchen with food apparently cooked by young boys. The dishes were grossly overpriced. For example, a bowl of soup, probably worth 30 cents to make, was served for an equivalent of 30 USD. Apart from the manager/owner?/, the people working the place seemed nice, but it hardly compensated for the totally regrettable night there.

Beautifully located close to a few seal watching places it offers good food but tiny rooms. I accept small, but there was not enough room lace to put the baggage. Room for 3 people around 6 square meters...|Tough but ok.

Considerando la zona remota in cui si trova, si tratta di una buona sistemazione, in particolare considerando anche l'ottimo ristorante annesso. La stanza è piccola, ma pulita e, dato che quella attigua non era occupata per quella sera, abbiamo potuto sfruttare anche il corridoio e avere il bagno comune solo per noi.

No te dejes engañar por las fotografías...las habitaciones están en dos contenedores detrás del restaurante.|Las habitaciones son pequeñas y deslabazadas....sin encanto ninguno además de demasiado pequeñas.|El baño es compartido y la ducha deja escapar el agua a toda la habitación.|Lo peor de todo, fue la actuación del dueño, que a pesar del precio de la reserva (107€), se empeñó en que eran 140€.... Al final vio que no cedíamos y accedió....negoció no darnos desayuno ( que por cierto quería servirnos a las 10)....aún estoy esperando a que me de la vuelta del dinero que le pagué.|La verdad, no tengo comentarios para un sitio tan cutre y un señor tan Geta en todas sus actuaciones.|No cene porque tras ver los precios preferí hacerlo en otro sitio. Lobster no es langosta, son cigalas... exactamente 200gr: 36€ y 300gr: 54€|

I found it extremely expensive considering what they offer: a tiny, den-like bedroom with a common bathroom where you can hear everything happening in your neighbor room, and I suppose vice-versa? ? I wouldn't book this place a second time nor would I recommend it to anyone.
