Abbiamo prenotato per 7 persone quindi avevamo tutta la struttura per noi. 3 camere con ognuna il lavandino individuale e smart tv. In aggiunta bagno e salone grande. È immerso nel nulla quindi portatevi rifornimenti... In ogni caso la struttura ve lo ricorderà.
Questo è comunque un vantaggio per poter vedere l'aurora.

Per la struttura: più attenzione alla pulizia della cucina il bollitore e il forno purtroppo erano sporchi e facendo da mangiare per 7 servirebbero i coperchi per le pentole anche se in generale nessuno c'è li ha....

This complex is in the absolute middle of nowhere, although it is convenient if you want to hike Studlagil Canyon, which is really worthwhile. There are just rooms, no food services. The rooms are small but adequate. You check in at one location and stay at another.

Hicimos el intento de alojarnos allí con una autocaravana, y nos volvimos porque parecía una película de miedo.
Literalmente es una caseta con dos baos en mitad de la nada. No hay nada más. Y el camino para llevar son Hnos 15 min en coche en un carril sin asfaltar lleno de baches. Además, hay un cartel que el precio son 2.000 coronas islandesas por persona y noche.

Reservamos una habitación triple con baño compartido y para nuestra sorpresa nos dieron una privada. Los alojamientos están nuevos y limpios, cuentan con una casa aparte con cocina y comedor en perfecto estado y con todos los utensilios. El lugar es muy acogedor, nos dieron de cenar amablemente de forma contundente y el desayuno también estaba bastante bien. Cierto es que hay que hacer unos minutos para llegar a las habitaciones pero teniendo en cuenta la excelente ubicación y las vistas incluso se agradece. El chico de la recepción y el resto del personal fueron muy amables con nosotros.

The row of houses we stayed in is 5km from the main office so be prepared for a bit of extra driving. The employee who greeted us was very helpful and dropped a pin for us on Google maps so we knew exactly where to go and then had no trouble finding the place. The room was clean and had good quality toiletries in the washroom. The shared kitchen was well equipped and had a large seating area. It is in a separate building but very close to the accommodations. The scenery around the buildings is beautiful and we got to see one of the most beautiful sunsets. Very secluded so eat before you arrive or bring food with you to prepare in the kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

The chalets we took although was 5 km away from the main reception house, it was a good place away so we could fly our drones and see vast plains of flora for miles and miles. The chalets were well furnished and amenities were all we need for a good shower and sleep. There’s another adjacent cabin which was being built. It could be used for future restaurant so do look out for it if you do come by to this area. Overall, the eating should deserve more than what others have listed. Good job!

This place is really off the beaten path and breathtakingly beautiful. The rooms and cabins are located 5 km from the reservation building, and so you are very much self-service when you get on site. There is a shared kitchen, which is helpful because there are no cafes within a 30 min drive. You can request breakfast and dinner at the reception building by ordering ahead.

The rooms and views make up for all this, truly. Rooms have floor to ceiling gorgeous views and very comfortable beds. Pretty stream right outside the porch area.

It looks like a few more buildings are being used near the rooms (onsite check in? Cafe? Not sure.) Worth a few km out of your way to take this in!

To get the key one needs to drive 6km from the accommodation. The big ceiling to floor window has great view of the river and mountain. Both the main door and back door were difficult to lock which need a few tries. Full toiletries are provided, and the shoer has hot water with good pressure. There was electric socket beside each bed. The pillow was too thin, and the blind not very effective. The kitchen is in a different house so needs an umbrella when it rains. In the evening we cooked there, the fuss jumped multiple times. There were cereal, coffee, and chocolate provided. Detergent ran out and Run out rubbish bin was full. As the cooking area was small, it’s a bit crowded when a few families come together for cooking.
