In this Bed & Breakfast, the host is Very hospitable. Nice environment and views from the hotel. Good breakfast and very good dinner (great chicken breast dish). |Rooms are newly renovated, not very big, but extremely clean. Highly recommend to stay.

We stayed one night here and wish all our nights could’ve been here! This was the quietest, darkest room we had in ten days in iceland. Beds were comfortable, there was also a couch & everything looks new and very clean! Breakfast was good, homemade soup and bread for dinner were absolutely delicious! We were even treated to chocolate cake she had just made! You can tell the people who run this really care about what they are providing. We also really liked the surrounding area, we woke up to views of houses in the pair and went to bed with a lovely rainbow and sunset…absolutely serene!||Horseback riding is also available here and a lot in the surrounding area, you could just stay here and ride several different places if that is your goal! @45 minutes from gullfoss

Estuvimos alojados 4 adultos y 4 niños mayores en cuatro habitaciones, dos noches. Destacaría muy positivamente la amabilidad y la atención. El sitio es muy acogedor y estaba todo limpísimo. El desayuno estuvo bien y la cena bastante bien, con un precio bastante bueno teniendo en cuenta que es Islandia y aquí las cenas son muy caras. Lo que más me gustó es que adaptarán el menú y que mi hija celíaca pudiera cenar y desayunar sin gluten. Tenían pan sin gluten y también le ofrecieron una tarta de chocolate sin gluten que estaba muy rica. Una de las habitaciones tenía baño privado, el resto era baño compartido, los baños estaban muy bien y muy limpios, además como es una casa pequeña eran casi todos para nosotros. El saloncito era muy acogedor. De las guesthouse en las que estuvimos es la que más nos gustó por la amabilidad de la dueña, por la.comodidad del sitio y una buena relación calidad precio. Las habitaciones estaban bien, sólo una de ellas era demasiado pequeña. La ubicación está en medio del campo, sin un ruido, más allá de los pájaros. Nosotros volveríamos. Gracias por tratarnos tan bien, hemos estado como en casa.

A lovely guesthouse on working farm with horses set amongst some fields. Just off the main road and easily accessible. Charming couple, Sigka and her husband running the place, who informed us of some places to visit and spoke of horses. The room was cosy, clean and comfortable with ensuite bathroom. There is a shared common room with television. One could help oneself to tea and coffee any time from the dining room. The place was busy with other guests arriving and departing. ||There was enough choices for breakfast and we had dinner there one evening. The lamb was beautifully cooked and tasted delicious. As it was National Day, we were given free dessert, a family recipe, something like Eton mess with sprinkling of fruit and chocolates. Their daughters helped served the meal. ||Staying at the guesthouse gave one an insight into Icelandic hospitality and got to meet other guests from various countries, quite unlike in a hotel setting. Beautiful stay.

One of the friendliest and most comfortable guest houses I’ve ever stayed in, not just in Iceland but ever! On a snowing freezing day, the heated tile floors in the shower and main areas feel incredible. The main owner and chef, Sigga, is lovely and cooks up some delicious traditional Icelandic dishes in the kitchen upstairs. We’ve stayed here twice (once in winter, once in summer) and had a great experience both times.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, wir waren die einzigen Gäste und hatten ein großes Zimmer am Ende des Gangs. Die Gastfamilie war sehr nett und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker und echte Hausmannskost. Beim Frühstück gab es eine große Auswahl. Alles sehr sauber und eine ruhige Lage. Zimmer sind allerdings hellhörig.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this place. We've stayed in some beautiful homes during our trip but this is an absolute treat. There are about 10 rooms. We stayed downstairs and there were two toilets and showers with a sink in your bedroom. The staff is so sweet. You get a complimentary breakfast 8-10am. Free coffee/tea anytime during the day. And you can purchase dinner in the evening. We had the soup, it was very tasty. They offer horseback riding as well. Highly recommend!

The hostess was wonderful and the place very clean. It is a home with the typical concrete walls and the walls between rooms are very thin. As always bring you ear plugs. The property is nice with pretty views and lovely horses.
