Huisje staat in een rijtje van een aantal andere huisjes. Je checkt in bij het hotel aan de overkant. Wij waren te laat om er te eten, dan hadden we moeten reserveren. Naast de huisjes is een klein supermarktje. Het ontbijt is ook in het hotel er tegenover. Dit was helemaal top! Huisje heeft waterkoker, maar die past niet onder de kraan ?. Verder prima!

The location was really good, pretty close to many points of interest, the breakfast was really good, buffet with hot beverages and local options and free coffee and tea available in your building, everything was clean.
The only thing that we didn't like is that everything could be heard since the walls are made of something similar to wood so we could hear the sinks and the floor easily and the parking lot is not marked correctly, you have to make the check-in at the building in front but apart from all was nice.

Matige kamer. Geen tv. In de badkamer kon de douche kop niet hangen. Doucht niet fijn. Vreselijk warm in de kamer. De thermostaat kon niet lager. Men zou het komen oplossen maar is niet gebeurd.
Ontbijt matig. Was in het tegenover gelegen hotel. Ontbijt was tot 10 uur, maar om 9.15 uur was het brood op. Ondanks vragen werd dit niet aangevuld. Erg matig. De Skyr zat al in een glaasje. Was met 2 happen op. Alles leek op de bon. Niet aan te raden.
Restaurant in het hotel was het enige dat open was, zei men. Redelijk maar duur gegeten. Er bleek ook een Ethiopisch restaurant te zijn. Werd verzwegen. Niet netjes.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cette Guesthouse.|La réception et le petit déjeuné se font à l'hôtel Hill très class.|Tout le personnel réception, serveurs, femme de ménage, est très serviable, compétant et attentionné.|La chambre et la salle de bain (+ WC) est propre, simple, décorée avec gout. La grande baie vitrée doit permet de voir les aurores boréales sans sortir de son lit quand le ciel est dégagé et que les conditions sont favorable et la vue est magnifique.|Le petit déjeuné est un buffet bien présenté, garni de produits de qualité, dans un environnement très propre et agréable.|Pour l'Islande et au vu de toutes les activités autour, c'est un très bon rapport qualité/prix.|Le fait de nous arrêter ici nous a permis de voir tranquillement les incontournables Geysir Geothermal Area et Gullfoss sans stess pour retrourner vers Reykiavick et nous de découvrir et nous baigner dans la source d'eau chaude Secret Lagoon et visiter les serres de tomate et de concombre de Friðheimar ou nous avons mangé le midi dans le bar à vin.||Anecdote qui montre le professionnalisme de l'équipe: Notre fils de 4 ans a oublié sa tasse fétiche au restaurant et la gesthouse nous a proposé de nous le renvoyer en France...||Nous regrettons une chose, ne pas y être resté plus longtemps pour faire du cheval par exemple ;o) ||--||A friendly team, in a pleasant and comfortable space near the places of visits.|We spent one night in this Guesthouse.|The reception and breakfast are at the Hill Hotel very class.|All reception staff, waiters, housekeeper, is very helpful, knowledgeable and attentive.|The room and bathroom (+ toilet) is clean, simple, tastefully decorated. The large bay window should allow you to see the northern lights without getting out of bed when the sky is clear and conditions are favorable and the view is magnificent.|The breakfast is a well presented buffet, filled with quality products, in a very clean and pleasant environment.|For Iceland and in view of all the activities around, it is a very good quality/ price ratio.|Stopping here allowed us to quietly see the unmissable Geysir Geothermal Area and Gullfoss without stess to return to Reykiavick and us to discover and bathe in the hot spring Secret Lagoon and visit the greenhouses of tomato and cucumber from Friĭheimar where we ate lunch in the wine bar.||Anecdote that shows the professionalism of the team: Our 4-year-old son forgot his favorite cup in the restaurant and the gesthouse offered to send him back to France...||We regret one thing, did not stay longer, to ride horses for example ;o)

Generalnie ok, zależy na jaki pokój się trafi, my akurat trafiliśmy ten najmniejszy w którym nie można nawet rozłożyć walizki. W hotelu naprzeciw możliwość skorzystania z gorących wanien. Polska obsługa w recepcji. Śniadanie tak samo w hotelu naprzeciw.

Wie diese guten Bewertungen entstanden sind, könne wir uns nicht erklären. Unser Zimmer war schmutzig (Dreck unter dem Bett, schmutzige Bettlaken inklusive vielen Haaren, schmutzige Handtücher), die Farbe blättert von der Wand, Schimmel an den Wänden und Türrahmen. Und ein schimmelig muffliger Geruch im ganzen Haus. Der Check in findet im gegenüberliegenden Hotel statt. Das Gästehaus war sehr verwahrlost. Wir haben deshalb nicht in dieser Unterkunft übernachtet und uns ein anderes Hotel gebucht. Auf die Zustände angesprochen hat die Empfangsdame überrascht reagiert und uns ein Zimmer im Hotel angeboten. Wir haben dankend abgelehnt.
