Overall it's quite good, good location, self check in with hanged information about your room number and instructions.

Very small kitchenette, barely can do something to eat, missing rag for wiping, there only kitchen paper roll, two toilets but in that one with bathtub.

Our family stayed in a 3-bed apartment and it was absolutely perfect for us. Could not have asked for better setup for our group. The room and bathrooms were very clean, high ceilings, windows that could be opened to let crisp air in, quiet residential neighborhood, and within walking distance to downtown. We had a kitchenette which is very helpful when trying to save some money by not eating every meal out.

We loved this guesthouse! Friendly and super clean inn. The apartment was perfect for 4 of us with an efficiency kitchen and kitchen table. We walked to all the great spots in town. It is in a pretty residential neighborhood by the river and was fairly easy to park on the street. Highly recommend.

A convenient place to stay and less expensive than hotels, but taping individual notes to the front door with your name and the number of your room and indicating that the key is in the door is a security risk and a privacy invasion. I’d hoped this was something temporary, like the manager was ill, perhaps, but I see from past reviews that this is not the case. It’s inexplicable in a place as highly rated as this. I wouldn’t recommend it, unfortunately.

Wat een geweldige plek om Reykjavik wandelend te verkennen. Auto kun je gratis parkeren in de straat. Eind van de dag wel even zoeken en opletten dat je niet bij betaald parkeren staat.
Er waren weliswaar bouwwerkzaamheden, maar deze stoorden totaal niet. Gebouwen hebben nou eenmaal onderhoud nodig om mooi te blijven.
Bij aankomst werden we verwelkomd met duidelijke briefjes op de deur, zodat je wist welke kamer je had. Wij sliepen met z’n vieren in een familie kamer. Bedbank had wat beter gekund. Deze ligt erg hard door een balk die je door het matras heen voelt. En de lamp boven de bedbank geeft ‘s nacht groen licht. Dit hebben we afgedekt met een zak.
We hebben vooral genoten van onze eerste nacht in IJsland. Dank voor het fijne verblijf.

1. The nice pictures are the private areas of the hosts.
2. The rooms are in the basement and you have 1-2 windows so poor ventilation and limited sunlight.
3. You have non personal interaction. You are greeted by a sticked paper on the room door.
4. We saw so many cute guesthouses during our trip in Iceland and this one is should not call itself guesthouse. Its an room rental witout any personal touch. So many people put all their heart into running guesthouses and I feel so bad that anyone could come here and think thats icelandic hospitality!

Apartamento en la planta baja con vistas al jardín, amplio, con cocina y nuevo (menos el baño que era un poco mas antiguo). Posibilidad de aparcar muy cerca (1 minuto andando máximo) y a 5 minutos caminando de Hallgrímskirkja (la iglesia). Muy facil acceso a las carreteras principales.

The pics don't really match the property's appearance，there's a fancy room in the pics that only the host can use. All the rooms are downstairs, so it feels odd, like being in a basement，and there's noise from the street，I gotta tell you, I came here after checking out the pics, but I was sorta let down. Compared to other hotels, the room you can book at this price would be a bit bigger and more cozy.And the hotel is even under renovation, and the passageway is stacked with building materials
