We stayed with Inga for a few nights on our last trip to Iceland (Nov. '16) and I've probably recommended her place to all my friends every time they talk about going to Iceland. Her house is warm and cozy but modern and bright. The added feature of the cutest dog in Iceland, Greg, helped to make you feel right at home. Inga has a hot tub that she was more than happy to get ready for us, (so nice to just turn on a faucet for hot tub water!) and although we didn't see Northern Lights, being out under the stars was incredible. ||||We spent two nights in one of Inga's guestrooms and while sharing a large main bathroom, we felt we had sufficient privacy. Inga's breakfast was big and filling. ||||Inga is a local renown potter and we got a tour of her studio and little gallery. You should ask her to show it to you!

Slightly tricky to fine but worth it. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and cosy, and the bathroom is huge with a lovely rainfall shower. We stayed for one night after doing the golden circle, and had breakfast at nearby bakery in Hveragerdi (recommended by Inga). Inga was a great host and gave us tips on how best to hunt around for the northern lights. We would definitely stay here again!

My girlfriend and I had a pleasant stay at guesthouse Inga we stayed there over the weekend. There are great walking routes there as well as some decent hikes. We went to the geothermal site that is nearby and took a bath (in all our clothing) on after a tiring hike. In the evening Inga offered us to join her for a dinner party after that we hit the hot-tub and had a great time. We slept well, the rooms are comfortable and the surrounding quite peaceful, its always good to wake up to the song of birds :)||||The interior design is quite something since Inga is an artist. She has her workshop in the back and you can see her beautiful design at the guesthouse.||||There are some nice swimming pools in hveragerði as well that is always pleasant for relaxing or workout. I will come again to enjoy the peace and quiet to recoup and meditate.

Inga was a wonderful host! She was very easy to talk to and provided recommendations on places only known to locals. Her house is also a very modern and clean place to stay. It definitely felt like a luxury hotel rather than a guesthouse. Breakfast at her place will be extra cost for your stay but absolutely worth it. With cost of food in Iceland being so expensive, her price is very reasonable for the amount of food that you get. She also had the cutest silky terrier, Bruce! He loves to play and will carry his Teddy bear over to you as a greeting.

I want to thank Inga for giving us a fantastic weekend at her guesthouse. Me and my girlfriend stayed there for three days. The walking paths are great and there is a geothermal area near by that leads to a pretty good hike, there are a couple of horse rentals near by as well. After the hike on saturday Inga hosted quite entertaining dinner party and we ended the evening in the hot tub after a great day surfing around Hveragerði. The location is great since it is on route 1 and only 30-40 minutes from the Reykjavik center.

Nous avons passé une nuit chez Inga à la fin de notre séjour. Superbe maison et les chambres sont vraiment très belles. La salle de bain est grande, propre et superbe aussi. Le petit déjeuner était vraiment très bien et avec des produits frais. Merci beaucoup à Inga pour son hospitalité et une caresse à Bruce (petit chien super gentil)

Beautiful home in a beautiful area. Inga was a very gracious host. Large, well furnished room with lots of natural light and views. Comfy bed and large shared bathroom. Optional breakfast was nice. Bruce, the dog was adorable.

We had a wonderful weekend at Inga house. Our friend from Denmark came with us, Karen had here birthday there. Singers came there to sing for the birthdaygirl. Everything was perfect, the hotpot, food, bedrooms so nice. The breakfast was very good. The trip was exellent and Inga is wonderful. Thank you, we will definitly come again.
