Gyönyörű környezet, kultúrát ház. A vízellátás a közeli vízesésből, a fűtés gejzírből jön. A ház körül sokféle állat. Ez nem hat csillagos szálloda, mégis jól érzed magadat benne.

I had a great 3-hour day ride with Heidi. Katja helped me set the ride up over email and Heidi was so kind to pick me up in Akureyri. The horses were well-groomed and pleasant to ride. The tack was in good condition. Heidi took me along the river with lovely views of the fjord and highlands. We had many opportunities to experience the unique tölt of the Icelandic Horses. I highly recommend riding with them and wish I had a chance to stay at the farm house.

On our way from lake Myvatn to Borgarnes, we stayed in this charming B&B in a rural area near the city of Akureyri. It takes only a 20 minutes drive from the guesthouse to the city where you can go out for diner. ||The B&B is run by a friendly couple with whom we had a lovely chat about Iceland and about the Icelandic horse. Freyr and Katja have a collection of horses in the meadow behind their house and were happy to let us meet them which I would highly recommend if you have not met such a horse before. The horses have the friendliest character.||We had a good night's rest in one of the best beds I slept in during our trip, followed by a good breakfast. ||Go check it out when you are in the North! Had a perfect stay here. Freddy and Katja are amazing hosts. They will look after your every need. Beds are comfortable, breakfast was filling and tasty. We got a chance to visit all the animals, which was fun. The views are also fantastic, and its conveniently located near Aukyeri and the ring road. You wont find more warm, genuine, welcoming hosts in all of Iceland. Stop looking for any other accommodation, stay here. You wont regret it! ||Thanks again!

We enjoyed our time at the Guesthouse Uppsalir. My wife, teenage son and I stayed there for three days in early June 2016. The regular hosts weren't there, but the substitutes took good care of us. Our meals were good and our room was comfortably large enough for three. The view out of the front door is spectacular. It ranges from verdant sheep pasture, then on to a fertile valley and finally up to snow capped peaks. We enjoyed northern Iceland immensely and this B&B was a great base of operations.

We enjoyed our visit to uppsalir. The farm was charming - nice common room and bedrooms, plenty of space for cooking, and attractive grounds. They can organize horse tours although we didn't go. If you are doing the ring road it's about a 15 min detour - not fatal but a little inconvenient. Breakfast was good. Main thing to know is only one bathroom for the house (3 guestrooms) so you may be waiting. Overall enjoyed our stay and would recommend although not our favorite on the trip.

Aunque un poco lejos de la ciudad, pero es una casa muy acogedora y familiar. Estuvimos muy a gusto y tiene una granja de caballos preciosa. La cocina tiene todo lo necesario y la familia es agradable. En el comedor puedes compartir experiencias con otros viajeros. El unico Problema, un aseo para todos.

Experiencia super agradable gracias a la amabilidad y atención de los dueños. Son gente sencilla y muy hospitalaria. Genial el contacto con la vida de la granja y los animales en un entorno extremadamente hermoso. La casa está bien decorada y resulta muy acogedora. Todo está muy limpio y tanto las habitaciones como las zonas comunes son muy confortables. Recomendable 100%
