Amazing food- traditional lamb with potatoes and salad. Potato quiche very good. Small menu but don't be fooled the items are great! Pastries are also amazing - carrot cake, butter croissant, and fruit meringue all tasted fabulous! Amazing service and personality from the chef and server! This has a great location close to the canyon too without any of the 'touristy' nature to it

Garlic bread was as good as the best of Italy! And the carrot cake was so yummy. All the workers were senior citizens that were so kind and welcoming. The interior is so beautiful and there are outdoor tables with gorgeous views of the mountains. This place doesn't have a large name board, so it's somewhat easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. Highly recommended to try out before or after Studlagil canyon hike.

Hier gibt es leckeres regionales Essen. Die Pizzen sind bisher die besten auf Island. Und wirklich sehr zu empfehlen ist das Knoblauchbrot. Absolut Spitzenklasse. Das Team ist sehr aufmerksam und super nett.

MUST STOP BEFORE THE CANYON! Don’t even look at the menu! Just go! Everything is fresh! Oh, would you like to wait 10 minutes for the fresh bread out of the oven? Yes please! I can’t believe we didn’t take a photo! So here is the canyon instead!

We’ve ordered a traditional farmer’s lunch and a pepperoni pizza and both dishes were very delicious! Also all members of staff were very nice and welcoming!

Very nice coffee shop just before Stuðlagil canyon. Staff is super friendly and pastries and sandwiches are just amazing. I definitely recommend this place !

Worth stopping for food before or after visiting the canyon. Pizzas and garlic bread dough are made from scratch. The owner took time to learn how to make it. The farmer's dinner is simple which highlights the quality of the ingredients. The owner is a very kind woman who loves to take care of her customers. Bathrooms are clean. Stopping here made it much more comfortable to drive to the next destination.
