There are pros and cons to staying here and your experience will be decided by the room you are in.

Cons: We didn’t receive check-in information until 8:47pm. Our first room near reception, was noisy, smelled of mildew, and the lights didn’t turn on. We arrived after reception closed and no one was answering the 24/7 phone number that is supposed to be for assistance. We didn’t see the staff member that is supposed to do last rounds of the day. Bathrooms are frequently out of paper towels or toilet paper, or showers don’t work without any signs posted.

Pros: The next morning, reception promptly placed us in a new room which was in a nicer part of the building. It was quieter and near big common areas. It is worth exploring to find nicer, cleaner, larger and less run down areas and facilities in the building. Check in and check out are easy. Always found parking. Great location. Very walkable.

This place was a great spot for our first few days in Reykjavik and Iceland as a whole. Quiet, clean rooms, and friendly staff. I would recommend it to anyone. Only drawbacks were the main kitchen being far away from our room and the lights in our room were a bit bright, but you can't beat the value and location.

Das Hostel ist absolut nicht empfehlenswert.
Unser Aufenthalt fing damit an, dass wir recht unfreundlich an der Rezeption empfangen wurden. Während unseres Aufenthalts waren die Gemeinschaftstoiletten stark verschmutzt und es gab zudem sehr schnell kein Toilettenpapier mehr. Auch die Papiertücher für die Hände wurden nicht aufgefüllt. Außerdem war der Abfluss der Duschen verstopft, was dazu führte, dass man im Duschwasser stehen musste.
Die Bettwäsche und die Matratzen waren absolut widerlich, da sie Blut- und Urinflecken aufwiesen.
Darüber hinaus wurden die Öffnungszeiten der Rezeption sowie der Gemeinschaftsküche über Nacht einfach um eine Stunde verschoben, was dazu führte, dass wir vor unserer Abreise nicht mehr an unsere Lebensmittel, welche in dem Kühlschrank der Gemeinschaftsküche lagen, herankamen und somit zurücklassen mussten.
Neben all diesem wurden während unseres Aufenthalts Bauarbeiten an den Fenstern vorgenommen, welche deutlich im Hostel zu hören waren und demnach storten.
Eine, über den Kundenservice von Booking, eingeforderte angemessene Rückerstattung bzgl. all der Unannehmlichkeiten wurde seitens des Hostels abgelehnt, was absolut inakzeptabel ist!

我們這次住了兩間不同的房型 都覺得很不錯
公共設施（廚房 衛浴 走廊等等）整理的很乾淨工作人員也都很和善 另外很喜歡他們的裝潢每個角落都可以發現有趣的塗鴉設計 🤙🏼
唯一的缺點是 廚房只有一個洗手台 很常需要等候

Hostel doesn’t respect quiet hours. Had a large group talking loudly outside from 2:30 to 4:30 AM. Reception desk was closed, so we couldn’t get any help from staff.

The facilities were fine, decent showers, but when our entire group is kept up during the middle of the night, I can’t give it more than 2 stars

Super noisy. Especially rooms next to bathrooms - we had people showering at 2.30 am and the water pipes sounds like a small jet engine. Avoid room 116 especially. Mediocre beds. Refrigerators are not cleaned or emptied from previous guests. Could be great but definitely not recommended 👎

Stayed there for 4 nights. When we first entered the room it was fine for the price but a little bit later we heard that the shower was next to us and the noise of the water pipe was just too loud. On top of that the outside area was just infront of our window and had some very loudy people for 2 nights. Couldn't sleep well. Had to use earplugs which i never use. Also the room faucet only had hot water because the cold side had minor dripping of water but the shower was in the next room so we didn't notify it.
We did ask if it's possible to change the room but it was fully booked.
The kitchen was fine. Had all the kitchenware needed. The location of the hostel is very good. Can walk to most places. If i would know i could get a better room i might visit again.

以背包客棧的房間大小來說，這間的空間不大，行李箱很難再房間內，同時打開。廁所少，淋浴間數量多。但廁所的廁紙，很容易卡住拉不出來，造成你可能沒有廁紙用的困境。（有一個早上我去了三間廁所，三間廁所的廁紙都卡住了拉不出來，所以這個設計可能有問題）。

以共用廚房空間大小來說，一樓的廚房空間算小（畢竟入住的人很多）。
其他樓層也有廚房，但只有麵包機與微波爐，你可能沒辦法再其餘的樓層煮東西。

但這個地方的位置是很棒的，如果你想要逛雷克鎮，你可以走路到任何的地方。
