We are a family of five so always hard to find adequate accommodations at a reasonable price. We found it here. 3 bedrooms. Spacious. Good wifi. All the dishes and towels you need. Clean and comfortable. Full kitchen and washer dryer and grill. Close to Selfoss, maybe 15 minutes going the speed limit, so we could get groceries and cook at home. Nice and responsive hosts. All the liquor stores were closed and the host surprised my wife with bottle of wine for her birthday! And yes, we even saw the northern lights one night.

Fantastic and well-located cottages near Selfoss! The owner Rosa is lovely and was very helpful during our stay there. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed it!

Absolutely amazing property, we were in cottage 4. Rosa really made sure we had everything we could possibly need and much more. From the moment we booked we received a very friendly email thanking us for booking and explaining what we could expect. About 2 weeks before we arrived we received a very helpful and informative email with so many helpful tips for our stay. |When we arrived we were blown away by how lovely clean and appointed the cottage was. There was also a very helpful folder with lots of information from northern lights websites to places to visit and where to shop or where to eat. |The cottage was spotlessly clean and warm. There was a huge fridge, all cooking facilities and spices, tea/coffee and even hot chocolate with marshmallows. There were so many really lovely little extras most places wouldn’t even think of, for example Rosa even had beer glasses ready frozen in the freezer for our arrival. |Our neighbours were also so lovely, especially when they knocked on our door one night to let us know that the northern lights were putting on an amazing display of reds pinks and green colours covering the entire sky. |Really cannot think of anything more Rosa could do to improve the cottage.|We had a family of 5 and had plenty of space. Easy access to the golden circle and into Selfoss for food and supermarket. |Absolutely amazing, we would truly love to return. Thank you Rosa

Absolutely loved our stay here! Modern and clean. We made this our base home during our stay, because of its central location. Each day we headed out in a different direction and ventured on truly amazing hikes, the southern coast beaches (Vik), as well as waterfalls and geysers to the North.

Eine absolut 5 Sterne Unterkunft !
Das Haus 2 mit drei Schlafzimmern & einer herrlichen Aussicht - war traumhaft.
Sehr sauber, mit allen wichtigen Kleinigkeiten ausgestattet.
Wir werden es in jedem Fall weiterempfehlen!

We stayed here between 22nd - 25th October 2018. Amazing and beautiful cottage. Its just an hour and a half away from Keflavik by road. We had rented a car and the roads were easy to drive. The property is well furnished with even a barbeque set at the deck and the kitchen is complete with oil, coffee, tea, creamer, flour right down to spices for cooking a meal which was really amazing.||The host is Rosa, a gem of a person ever willing to give advises and available at anytime. ||This location is located 5 minutes away from the town of Selfoss and also is convenient to tour the Golden Circle and other attractions. ||I will give this property more than a rating of 10!!

We loved our 4 nights in one of the Icelandic cottages. They are really comfortable and cosy with loads of space, and brilliantly well equipped for self catering, including fresh coffee and homemade jam. There is also a great BBQ which we enjoyed using. The location is great, only a short drive from shops in Selfoss but also easy to access the golden circle. We also loved the secret lagoon in Fludir. We had our 18 month old with us and he enjoyed himself too, there is even a play area with a trampoline! We highly recommend and would stay here again if we come back to Iceland which we hope to do! Nothing to fault.
