The rooms are quite small; we almost didn’t have any space to leave our luggage. For the same price, you can get a much nicer and larger room with a private bathroom even in Switzerland.

Anyway, the room and the shared bathroom were clean enough.

The communication from the company wasn’t very clear. On the Booking.com reservation, it says that check-in is between 3 PM and 7 PM. When I called to say we would be 15 minutes late, I was told that the reception is actually open 24 hours.

At check-out, I wanted to order a shuttle bus. The lady on the phone (since no one was at the front desk at the time) told me that the shuttle was only available in the morning between 10 AM and 11 AM. Luckily, when we asked again at the front desk, we were informed that it was still possible to order the shuttle.

I was a bit disappointed by the lack of flexibility. We had made a mistake with the reservation and booked two nights even though we only needed one, as our flight home was on the second night. Since we made the reservation through Booking.com, we weren’t able to change it. However, we contacted the guesthouse directly to ask if a refund for the second night might be possible. I understand that refunds are not allowed, as stated, but when we asked if we could at least come one day earlier to avoid losing the money, the company rejected that option too.

All in all, the guesthouse isn’t bad, but the price is too high for the service provided and the very simple breakfast.

I wish I'd done more research before deciding on this long term parking. I won't be coming back, it's better to pay a little more for flybus.

I booked ahead through Park Via, so I didn't see that the few reviews for this place were bad (or possibly fake with two reviewers who gave 5 stars and this was their only review on Google.)

First problem was my impression as I pulled up because it looked like a junk yard with tons of cars filling every available space, parked on the asphalt but also on the grass, on the rocky dirt strip between the road and the lot. Okay, but most of the cars looked pretty nice so I tried not to judge a book by its cover.

Second problem, they seemed very understaffed. No one was in reception when my husband and I arrived, even though I'd booked ahead with a time we needed to get to the airport, and paid. I tried calling according to the sign taped to the counter (just the same number listed for the business,) but the phone didn't work.

My husband ended up having to walk out and go to another building to get someone we saw through the window, even though I'm pretty sure he didn't work in the car park part of the business. He told us to wait because the other guy was driving other customers to the airport.

Finally the main guy got back, got us checked in, and then the other guy ended up driving us.

My husband was stressed something would happen to the car while we were gone, our first impression was that negative, so he made sure to take photos of our car from every angle just in case something like a new scratch showed up.

The bad impression was sealed when we got back from our trip. No scratches, but that's a pretty low bar. A shuttle was supposed to be included to and from the airport, I specified the time when I originally booked it, but when we landed I tried to call to confirm.

The phone didn't even connect, I dialed and it immediately disconnected. My husband, too. We tried a bunch of times. With no way to confirm with them where to meet them or if they were even coming, we ended up having to take a taxi to the car park, which cost me another 4,500 kronur.

No one was in reception, phones didn't work, husband had to chase down another person we saw from afar to get any kind of service. The poor guy, same as before, clearly was not trained to work for the car park but did his best to try to find the right pouch with our key.

It took a few tense minutes and him calling the one other person working there before he found it and then he admitted he had no idea where my car was. Luckily we saw it parked by the entrance (on the strip of dirt next to the road.)

Tldr: The lot is over capacity with cars, the business is understaffed, there is never anyone in reception, the phones didn't work which made prepaying a little risky, and thanks to the phones we couldn't get a ride from the airport and had to pay too much for a taxi.

Very bed service!!!.The driver was very impolite . We was without bags and phoned immediately after aircraft lended. The driver told that arrived after 20 mín . After 30 mín we have seen that the car from parking drived behind us (it was not full), and did not pick up as . We phoned again , nobody answer . After another 20 mín he answered and told that pick up as after another 10 mín. The car which pick up is very old , without blue tooth to speak with clients. The driver did not help for clients with baggage!! We give for parking service full information about our flight, our car, our phone number. But the driver didn't understand what client is , what car the client has , what is his name, what is our flight. He didn't understand what client he pick up!! Who phone for him, how many clients are waiting , noting is clear in his mind. Very unpolite!!! We were waiting the pick up more than 45 mín!! Any excuse!!! It was really better to take a bus, so we were home more quickly. I would like to know is this driver was an icelandic license to drive a passengers? This terrible service was at the night 18-19.04.23.
