we stayed one night here as a family. the room was small with two sets of bunk beds, leading directly in to the lounge, but luckily it wasn't noisy. margaret the owner was very helpful and friendly and in the morning made wonderful waffles for the guests. tea and coffee is also provided in the kitchen.||THe downside - the kitchen is very small and 3 groups of people arrived within a short time of each other. THere is only one cooker, very few pans. ANd 2 toilets between 13 people was just not enough.||great views and good location.

You can feel HOME at this place. It’s very clean and tidy, also have enough equipment at the kitchen. The view from the kitchen is incredibly beautiful! Bed and pillow is super comfy, between soft and firm, I had a nice sleep!!
The Host is really kind and friendly, we arrived in the late night, instead of complained, she said it’s better to drive slower at night and want us to be safe.
I’ll definitely stay here again if I comeback to iceland.

Très bon accueil malgré notre avance sur l’heure prévue d’arrivée. Le klif hôtel situé face au port, à proximité des commerces, offre confort et tranquillité. Nous étions logés dans la chambre du rez-de-chaussée comprenant toilettes et salle de bain privatives. La chambre était spacieuse, très bien équipée. Il était amusant d’avoir deux anciennes cabines téléphoniques en guise de placards…Le Klif hôtel s’est installé dans les anciens locaux de la poste ! Excellent rapport qualité prix.

This place is very clean and modern. The woman who runs it is very friendly and helpful. There is a nice kitchen and modern bathroom/shower. The town is small and scenic. The nearby Hotel Framtid is a good place for dinner and the food is excellent. We would definitely stay at Klif Hostel again.

L'hostel est bien situé, à quelques minutes à pied du port. La propriétaire est accueillante. La cuisine dont on peut profiter pour se faire à manger et petit déjeuner est très grande. Et il y a un salon avec télévision à disposition. La propriétaire nous avait fait des gaufres maison miam! Par contre, c'est la chambre la plus petite sur nos 2 semaines passées en Islande et la literie était très molle. La cuisine est grande mais le nombre de places pour y manger est limité (juste 4) par rapport au nombre d'invités. Par ailleurs la connexion wifi est quasiment inexistante, dommage.

As group of 3 friends, we decided to share a room and ended up in the family room which had 2 side by side beds and a bunk bed. I had the lower bunk bed which was very comfortable. The room is tiny, but we really only slept there for a few hours and it was fine. Each bed had a towel placed on it to use in one of the 2 shared washrooms. The place is very quiet and in the morning here were waffles made for each guest to take one.

Al momento del check in (che è possibile effettuare fino alle 20:00) è presente la proprietaria, una signora bionda molto gentile che abita al piano terra e che vi proporrà di comprare la colazione per 700 isk a persona.||Le camere si trovano al piano superiore, non sono molto spaziose ma comunque dotate di armadio.||Sono presenti due bagni condivisi, dotati anche di phon. ||La cucina è molto accessoriata ed è anche presente un soggiorno con balcone.||Parcheggio disponibile di fronte la struttura. ||Per il check out basta lasciare le chiavi della stanza attaccate alla porta.

This hostel was a good choice. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and tidy. Big common room and kitchen. Also large windows everywhere, so you can see the mountains and the ocean all day long, even while showering.||||This hostel was really cozy, feels like home. Highly recommended.
