The one-bedroom cottage is cozy, clean, and sufficient. Great view by the lake. The owners were responsive.

Bring your own toiletries. The shower drains very slowly and the WiFi didn’t work. Other than that, we had a good stay.

We got stranded in a huge storm, with the roads completely closed. They gave us shelter and were extremely kind and hospitable with us given the difficult circumstances. They really want guests to have a positive and natural experience of what Iceland has to offer. The place is located in a beautiful valley overlooking the bay. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to see Iceland in its true colours.

Accueil déplorable de la propriétaire. Nous pensions avoir réservé un chalet mais nous étions dans la maison des propriétaires (voir la photo), même si l'entrée est sur le côté. Les cloisons en feuilles de cigarette, la chambre contiguë à celle des enfants adultes des propriétaires. Je vous passe le bisou du soir et les ronflements. Une sdb qui n'en était pas une car l'odeur était celle de la fosse septique. Et cerise sur le gâteau des tâches surprenantes sur le matelas. Inadmissible compte tenu du tarif. A fuire même si la vue est belle. Tromperie sur les photos diffusées. Mieux vaut faire quelques kms supplémentaires et être mieux logé

We stayed here for one night and were given one out of the two bigger cabins. When we arrived, we were shocked that the door had been left open the whole day, leading to there being more than 100 flies everywhere. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen were all infested with flies and we simply could not get rid of them. The rooms were also not in the best condition, and were not very clean. I’m not sure if anyone else had this experience here, but the price was too high for this quality.

Unfortunately not many positive things to say from my experience apart from the friendly staff and the good location near Djupivogur. Our room was full of more than 100 flies when we arrived and the toilet had a strange smell, the rooms were also not clean and the fly problem was very serious. The view is very beautiful though.

Abbiamo ricevuto via e-mail le istruzioni su come entrare in alloggio, siamo rimaste molto sorprese della struttura!
Una bella cura per i dettagli, divano con cuscini e coperte morbidissime, posizione eccellente con vista sul fiordo.
Abbiamo beccato una bufera di neve ma per fortuna entro poche ore si è schiarito e abbiamo anche avuto un accenno di aurora boreale! Chalet in legno, caldo e accogliente, perfetto per tre persone! Mancava un asciugamano, ma di certo non è stato un problema!
Super consigliato, davvero grazioso!
