Easily accessible, clean, comfortable place for a nights sleep. Shower is spacious and accessible. Cozy sitting/dining area with basic’s covered. There’s a refrigerator you can use as well as microwave, hot water kettle. Recommend you stay here.

Abbiamo soggiornato in camera con bagno in comune.
Avevamo molte perplessità invece la stanza era nuova pulitissima e con tutto il necessario. Il bagno è la doccia erano nuovi e pulitissimi.
Colazione top.
La padrona di casa molto cordiale.
Assolutamente da consigliare.

We did a glacier tour and needed somewhere close to stay. I was hesitant after seeing the reviews, but overall we had a pleasant stay. The rooms and bathroom seemed recently renovated and very nice so it seems they took note of the criticism. There were also 1.5 baths so you were not stuck without a bathroom if another guest was showering. Nice common area, but no kitchen. My only complaint was the thin walls as you could hear everything going on in the morning. The area around the stay was very scenic, with tons of sheep right outside to go see. We walked about 5 minutes up the road to Adventure Hotel for dinner which ended up being our best meal so far in Iceland.

This was hands-down the best place that we stayed at in our 10 days in Iceland.||The cabin was extremely spacious, had everything we needed for a family of 5, and even had free parking. Everything was new and comfortable, and included all utilities and kitchen implements we could possibly need. WiFi was strong and reliable, as was the heating.||The location was superb, being less than half an hour drive to Jokulsarlon - a place so remote that there are very few other places to stay nearby that don't require 1-2 hours drive each way! There was a frozen waterfall in the back yard, and some great restaurants and shops at hand.||Best of all, no light pollution, which meant we saw easily the best aurora that we saw all trip. It lasted 6 hours, and we got to relax on the deck and watch it in comfort - whereas everywhere else we stayed we had to drive for ages to escape the light pollution.||Solrun is a fantastic host - really helpful and full of great tips. But most of all incredibly kind and pragmatic - on our second day there we were warned of a huge snow storm heading in the next day that was set to close all the roads and would have prevented us from making it back for our flight. Without hesitation Solrun offered us a full refund so that we could return to Reykjavik a day early and prevent disaster, despite their cancellation policy not usually allowing such a late cancellation.||All in all, we couldn't have asked for more, and are incredibly grateful to Solrun for what was easily our best stay in Iceland.||Thank you!

We verbleven in 1 van de kamers in het guesthouse, daar totaal 5 kamers aanwezig op de benedenverdieping van de woning. De gezamelijke ruimtes zijn ook beneden aanwezig. Dit betreffen een woonkamer met koelkast, magnetron en waterkoker, een toilet en een badkamer met nog een toilet. Er is bij deze kamers dus geen keuken aanwezig, dat zit namelijk alleen bij de huisjes die ook verhuurd worden. Wij hebben in ieder geval een erg fijn verblijf gehad!

Goed Guesthouse voor als je een overnachting zoekt bij de gletsjer. De slaapkamers en badkamer zijn recent gerenoveerd dus de oude foto's kloppen niet meer.

Er zijn 5 kamers met een gedeelde badkamer met een douche en toilet en een los toilet. Shampoo, zeep en zelfs condioner zijn aanwezig.

In de gemeenschappelijke gang is een koelkast, magnetron en waterkoker. De keuken op de foto's is alleen in de cabin, niet voor de kamers.

Ontbijt is basic maar lekker. Hele grote mokken voor de echte koffiedrinkers onder ons. Een beetje skyr was een goeie toevoeging geweest.

Estuvimos un par de noche en esta casa de campo, excelente ubicación para recorrer la zona por cuenta propia.|El apartamento tiene todo lo necesario para estar cómodo, incluido ciertos básicos que hacen una diferencia (cafe, aceite, sal, azucar, etc).|El entorno es muy natural, con las ovejas en wl jardín como si dijéramos.|Además muy limpio y las camas cómodas.|La propietaria también muy amable. Lo super recomendamos!!

Die Unterkunft hat schön renovierte Zimmer und Badezimmer. Es gibt auch einen Gemeinschaftsbereich mit Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle und einen Kühlschrank, Instant Kaffee und Tee, was ich sehr nett finde. Sogar Besteck und Pappteller sind auch da.

Der Frühstück war auch reichlich. Man lebt auf einen richtigen Bauernhof und Frühstücksraum ist qasi das Wohnzimmer der Familie...Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt.
