I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the hotel's inflexible refund policy. Despite unforeseen circumstances necessitating the cancellation of my reservation, the hotel failed to display any understanding or flexibility.||My attempt to seek a refund due to a potential volcanic eruption and associated travel risks was met with resistance. The lack of empathy and consideration for the unique circumstances surrounding my cancellation request is quite a disgrace.||I requested even for a partial refund since there will be no occupancy, but they simply refused.||The hotel's unwillingness to accommodate a refund in this exceptional situation reflects poorly on its customer service. I expected more understanding and flexibility, especially when faced with events beyond anyone's control.||This experience has left me dissatisfied and hesitant to consider the hotel for future stays. I urge the management to reconsider their policies and adopt a more customer-centric approach.

Posizione piuttosto centrale e comoda, supermercato davvero a un minuto a piedi, centro città a 10 minuti.
Camera basic, letto e cuscino molto scomodi, doccia scomoda allaga spesso e volentieri tutto il bagno, abbiamo passato qui 5 notti e non è mai successo che passassero una scopa, una piccola aspirata al pavimento...niente di niente, ho dovuto pulire io come riuscivo con lo scopettino perché mi fa schifo vivere nello sporco.
A un certo punto abbiamo esaurito la carta igienica...la cosa buffa è che nessuno ce l'ha più messa.
Abbiamo anche avuto problemi con la combinazione che non funzionava ad entrare nell'hotel e nella camera.
La tv è un miracolo se riesci ad accenderla.
Ah, la sera tardi almeno per due ore si sentivano porte sbattere fortissimo che pareva che qualcuno stesse entrando nella tua stanza.

Amazing value for money. Spotlessly clean with well equipped kitchen. Free parking on opposite side of the street and 15 minute walk into city centre. Check in/out is also very simple and well organised. We only stayed here 2 nights as we were travelling round the whole of Iceland, but if you were just going to base yourself in Reykjavik I would thoroughly recommend these apartments as a cost effective way of exploring the city and surroundings. 5 stars all the way!

Booked a room a week prior to arrival and asked if a child’s cot would be available - told that I should remind them 24 hrs before but it shouldn’t be a problem. Reminded them and they said no problem, let the cleaning crew know. A few hours later, and just before departure the owner wrote to say no kids allowed? Nowhere was this written, and I had made the request a week before. Now I am left traveling with a 4 yr old with nowhere to go to rest upon arrival - had booked the day before arrival to ensure early access as well. garbage people.

Nous avons séjourné 2 jours dans cet appartement. C'est propre, la cuisine est bien pensée avec tous le nécessaire (dosettes de café et thé a disposition). La literie est vraiment très confortable, c'est une agréable surprise. Decoration sobre et moderne. Bon emplacement, au calme, possibilité de se garer dans la rue (parking payant), le centre de Reykjavik est accessible à pied, un supermarché bonus à 20 mètres . Un tout petit bémol pour la douche qui est plutôt petite.

A fantastic find - close to the shops and restaurants - spacious, spotlessly clean, quiet and safe. Lots of hot water and a super comfortable bed. Also close to the pick up and drop off areas for any tours you may have book. Highly recommend these apartments .

Our stay in Reykjavik was awesome at Northern Comfort. We couldn't choose a better option for an affordable price.
The room was clean, comfy bed, well located, easy self check in and out, staff were friendly, and the kitchen was equipped.
I'd certainly book this accommodation again when returning to Reykjavik.

Located near the downtown area the apartments were quiet and wonderfully located. Easy check in and check out process! The tap water tasted amazing -then again all the water in Iceland does.
