The room and the shared area are clean but one disadvantage is that you can hear each movement from your upstairs or outside your room, even they walked. Besides, the self- service laundry is a bit overpriced for us although maybe I do not have much idea on how the market price in Iceland shall be. The location is quite ok and parking is convenient. And there is sufficient space for the shared area to no matter enjoy your meal or take a rest. By the way, the bed is too soft for us and the amenities in the room is quite simple especially the coat hanger.

La casa es perfecta y aunque el baño es compartido solo lo compartimos con otra habitación y estaba muy limpio. Las habitaciones muy amplias y no les faltaba detalle. La cocina perfecta y el desayuno muy variado. Lo mejor sin duda la amabilidad y el trato de la anfitriona. Si repetimos por la zona volveremos.

Great stay! Shared kitchenette and living space was comfy with beautiful views of the water! Great restaurants within walkings distance. Quiet, quaint litte town just off the Ring Road.

A great guesthouse, with very clean bathrooms, comfortable bedrooms, and a very large kitchen, dining and living room. The proprietor is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. We couldn’t recommend it more highly. |Very close to the marina with a few wonderful restaurants and a brewery!

I highly recommend. Much nicer than I thought it would be based on the picture on their website. Very clean and well lit rooms. Owner put together a grab and go breakfast for each room the night before. Great location in SW Iceland. Room was a very good value. Had dinner at Pakkhus restaurant which was excellent.

We stayed at Old Arline Guest House on a night when the road from Vik to Hofn was temporarily closed due to damages caused by melted glacier so our arrival was very late. That`s the best guest house from my trip all over Iceland, very clean, neat and stylish, every single detail at its place, comfortable beds, great breakfast and charming host Sigga who made everything to feel like home. I wish I could stay here longer instead of just 1 night and hope to return one day!

This guesthouse has all the amenities that one needs. It is a quiet place. The rooms are nice. The shared toilets and showers are good. The communal kitchen is large and well equipped as is the communal area. A good breakfast is included in the price. And there on site parking. The owner is very nice and helpful. Another important feature here is the washer and dryer.

It's a nice little guesthouse in the heart of Höfn. The host is very communicative. All rooms have shared bathroom and kitchen area but it was no big deal.
