rúminn eru ekki góð. en fallegur staður og ágætlega hreint. Ég var bara svo bókuð á það að maður ætti að vera eins og heima hjá sér og þó minn hundur sefur á sínu rúmi þá er svo ekki með hund dottir minnar honum fynst eðlilegt að vera uppí hjá eiganda. En bið þig að fyrirgefa þetta og þar sem dóttir mín svaf ekkert um nótinna breyttum við um rúm undir morgunn svo enn og aftur bið ég firirgefningar.

This was an absolute gem to find. The little cottage we stayed in was basic but extremely comfortable. Great value for money. There are kitchen facilities for simple cooking not in the little cabin. But kettle and coffee machine provided in the room. Very pretty area overlooking the water. Will come back and stay again if I'm in the area.

Cute little guesthouse with everything you need. My friend did the airbnb booking, so I had no contact, but she had no trouble with contact/response time. A great base for exploring the waterfalls, and nice water view. Close to town and very cozy!

We wanted to stay out of town for a more peaceful and relaxing time. Guesthouse Petursborg was perfect for this, as it's only a few kilometres out of town, set near the fjord with beautiful views. You need a car. We stayed in cabin 7, which was so cosy and warm. It had 2 single beds with 2 other chairs for relaxing. The bathroom was small but plenty of hot water. You can stay in the main house too and they have a kitchen which guests can use to cook their meals if required. I think the cabins are more cosy. |Adrea, the host was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. I asked to borrow a hair dryer and some towels when we visited a geothermal pool and she was so pleasant and accomodating. |Breakfast is included and was basic but still good, including cold meats and boiled eggs. |Thank you for such a lovely stay. |||

We stayed in the back cottage (#7), next to the house. Best described as a small mobile home. Beds did not appear overly comfortable, yet we got a very good nights slumber. ||||It's located in a picturesque farm, nicely hidden and removed from the main road, which makes it pleasantly quiet. The curtains blocked about 85% of the light from entering the room during sleeping hours. The shower is about the size of the old cruiseship showers, but the walls are not nearly as sturdy. Also, this was the only place that we stayed at where the sulphur smell from the hot water was notable.||||The innkeeper was a kind and witty fellow, and the breakfast that is provided was basic, but sufficient to start the day. It's about an 8 minute, easy drive to the town from here. We also enjoy taking photos of the horses in the pasture next door, be sure to stop by and say hello to them for us if you decide to stay here.||||The wifi worked wonderfully and the convenient parking was especially appreciated when we had to load our bags the next morning into our car while it was raining outside. It rains a lot here : )||||This place meets the basic items we seek when we stay anywhere.......a good nights sleep in a good location with a good value. We'd recommend this place to all of our friends who are not sybaritic.

Stayed in the cottage. Christian greeted us when we arrived. Room was nice and spacious. Comfy beds. Room has mini fridge and coffee maker and kettle. There is shared kitchen but it is in the main house. Enjoyed our stay!

We were here some days back.|We loved this cottage which is run by a small family.||They have their own house and small cottages nearby. The kitchen in the owners house can be shared by the guests.|The owner is very welcoming and nice to talk to. Good functional breakfast. Eggs, breads, watermelon, juice coffee. Loved the canned pickeled herring. :)||They also have horses nearby and you can watch them from your cottage window.||The cottage was located away from the noise of road, close to nature.|Overall, really nice experience.

We stayed in 6 different locations during our trip to Iceland and they were all great but this was definitely the most comfortable stay. We stayed in one of the cottages. It was very reasonably priced. The wee cabin had everything: warm showers, a lot of practical furniture, comfy beds. The owner supplied us with a kettle and tea which was very nice of him. The area was lovely to look at and we had a nice walk just before dark. Oh and the breakfast! The breakfast was so tasty! We were sad to leave after one night. If we ever go back to Iceland this would be a place to stay in again.
