Opinión

Þetta fyrirtæki hefur súður ópin.

Álit: Nice, quiet and convenient location. The 1 bedroom suite was comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast basket each day - we had them for 2 meals each day - breakfast & dinner. The fresh bread was very delicious The room felt and smelled very clean hotel (thank you housekeeping). My experience sleeping at the sofa bed was decent; however, my 2 friends felt their twin beds were too soft for them and quite uncomfortable. A big shout out to the reception/front staff. Constantine and the woman… so helpful

We booked with this hotel as we travelled as three adults. We were in Artisan House. Like the other Reykjavik Residence buildings it is centrally located.

We enjoyed the mini kitchen (including fridge, kettle and coffee maker) and the basket breakfasts that were provided along with the fresh bread delivered in the morning. There was so much, we could make a bit of lunch if we wished.

It would have been nice to have a bath (the bathroom was very well appointed). Also, although it was dry both ways for us, one might get quite wet taking your cases from the reception to the accommodation.

Staff were friendly and helpful.

We booked a hotel transfer in both directions. It worked really well, avoided queues, was bang on time and made sense with three of us.

Junior suite was spacious, beds were comfortable, the shower was small but had nice hot water. Definitely get the breakfast, good value and convenient.

Stayed at the Artisan hotel. It’s super awesome. The room and location is beyond expectation. Room is really clean and has all the amenities. If I’m back to Iceland, definitely will book with them. The only gripe is, they have 10 locations, and mine was 400m away. On day 1, had to drag the luggage from reception to property. They should provide the bag transfer service for properties that are far. The staff, especially the reception team is exceptional in responding to all queries.

We chose to stay in one of the apartments linked to the hotel; the hotel owns a few renovated properties within a 5-minute walk. We were allocated a suite on the top floor of Artisan House, with our room (a junior suite) having a partial view of the bay. The suite was definitely on the small side but it had been furnished to a really good standard. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful, and the room was so quiet. The kitchen area was perfectly adequate for our needs. Our only small negative would be the lack of storage, especially as we stayed for a week; there was no wardrobe (no hangers) and only 4 small drawers. However, it was quite a lot cheaper than staying in a hotel and was really close to the centre.

Great studio apartment in a perfect location. We stayed at the Artisan House in the Junior suite. It had a small balcony, mini kitchen, and comfortable bed. Kitchen had olive oil, salt/pepper, coffee maker with stocked pods, and corn flakes. Bathroom had nice beauty products. Hotel was located just around the corner from Harpa and Sun Voyager, 3 min to bus stop 14 and short walk from most of city center. Reception is open 24 hours and was able to hold our bags till the room was ready. Would highly recommend and stay again on our next visit.

It's not just 1 property, it's several and each room is in an apartment style with everything you need for a stay. The room we had was amazing with the mist comfortable bed. In Iceland blackout blinds are a must in summer and yes they have them. Great bathroom, dining area, kitchen, living area its all there.

We stayed in a family studio for 5 nights and were, overall, a little disappointed with the experience.
The pictures and description of the family studio on the website are misleading in my opinion as we expected to have at least one separate room for parents or children. We had to stay in one large room and the space is a bit crowded and not very family friendly. Also, very little storage space (a few drawers and no closet), so all our stuff stayed in the suitcases.
I think it's a shame that the check in is without any human contact and that the only contact is by phone.
The kitchen equipment is sufficient to cook a simple dinner and the breakfast correct (Iceland is not a country for the gastronomes). On the other hand, a little variety in the choice of bread in the morning would have been appreciated.
The studio was clean and the housekeepers were very kind in accepting to come a little later to let our children sleep. Finally, some renovation (dirty walls and damaged furniture), especially in the bathroom would not be luxury.
