Leider war unser Zimmer dreckig. Es hatte überall Haare vom Vorgänger am Boden und im Bad. Der Abfluss des Spülbeckens war ebenfalls mit Resten voll und die Tür hatte einen Riesen Spalt und somit ist kalte Luft hineingezogen. Der Besitzer hatte uns ein alternativ Zimmer angeboten, welches jedoch nicht dem Standard entsprach den wir gebucht hatten (mit Küche), eine Preisreduktion lehnte er ab und hatte uns “exklusiv” die grosse Frühstücksküche angeboten. Im Nachhinein stellte sich heraus, dass diese ohnehin jeder nutzen kann. Kamen uns etwas verarscht vor und dies hinterlässt einen faden Beigeschmack. Preis
Leistung stimmt definitiv nicht.

Studio très petit et pas très propre. L'électricité n'est pas aux normes et il n'y a aucune ventilation dans la salle de bain. Pas d'explication claire, ou je ne les ai pas reçues contrairement à ce que m'a soutenu le propriétaire

The cleanliness of the room – the pictures show everything. Unfortunately, it was dirty when we arrived. The owner tried to find a solution, but we were not happy with it. A bad experience for us, but not a bad place. We stayed only one night.

Habitación acogedora. Excelente desayuno. El personal y propietarios muy amables y de gran trato. Se habla español. |Situado al lado del río Hella, hay una bonita cascada a un km del sitio.|Decir que se nos trato muy bien, y añadimos un día más nuestra estancia.

A pleasant stay for one night. The room comes with two single beds, a fridge and a bathroom. No cooking equipment so ready to eat food was required. Beautiful location on the river and great scenery but not particularly near anything specific. There is a supermarket nearby. Breakfast was served by the owners who were a lovely couple, they were very informative about Iceland traditions and how to make proper Skyr.
Positives: stunning lake view. Shower was lovely (but shower quickly as hot water is not ongoing).
Negatives: walls are very thin and I could hear everything the neighbours were saying.

Good find for a one night stay.

Super eingerichtete Zimmer mit Tollem blick auf den Fluss. Frühstück findet in einem Gemeinschaftraum statt. 1 Stern Abzug wir waren im Winter dort und die Zufahrt zum Parkplatz war nicht geräumt dadurch war die Zufahrt zum Gelände auch schlecht zu finden, wir haben uns dort im Schnee fest gefahren. Die Besitzer haben uns liebevoll geholfen das Auto wieder frei zu bekommen aber es muss ja erst gar nicht so weit kommen.

We stayed two nights here and had an amazing time. The room was super cozy and clean, breakfast was nice (it is served in the communal kitchen in Romm 16) and the owners were very friendly. We even got to see the northern lights! I would definitely come back again!

Llegamos a la habitación alquilada y estaba deshecha, usada por las anteriores personas que se quedaron allí. Se estaba haciendo de noche hacía frío y estuvimos 1 hora esperando intentando localizar a los dueños que no nos cogían el teléfono (con el coste de las llamadas que eso conlleva) finalmente tuvimos que llamar a Booking. Después de 1 hora se presentó allí una mujer diciendo que nos ofrecían otra habitación, concretamos con ella que ya no queríamos estar allí después de la larga espera y perdimos una excursión que teníamos por este tema y acordamos el reembolso. Como fue de palabra, las palabras se las llevó el viento y nos cobraron el alojamiento. Una auténtica vergüenza llegar a un sitio que el check in es a las 16h y llegar a las 18:30h y que no esté la habitación lista y que haya que estar llamando por teléfono y que ni siquiera den señales de vida. Encima del incidente parecía que había que pedirles perdón nosotros. No lo recomiendo en absoluto.
