Great apartment! My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) rented the 2 Superior Bedroom/ 2 Bathroom with balcony. We were on the 9th floor with a great view of the water and mountains. Apartment was clean, kitchen stocked with essential cookware and flatware. Salt & Pepper provided, paper towels, dishwasher tabs, nespresso pods and tea bags. Grocery store a quick 5-7min walk. We ate breakfast & dinner in the apartment to save $$$ as restaurants and take-out are very expensive. 2 Bathrooms were clean, hand soap, toilet paper, shampoo & conditioner provided. My only comment would be to ask for extra towels as there were only 4 provided and they were a bit thin. Laundry (not full size, so small laundry load) is inside one of the bathrooms, detergent provided but no dryer sheets. Street parking was always available (our stay was Thursday - Monday) and is paid for by a mobile app (Parka) - cheaper than the underground garage and street parking is free overnight. If you do not have a car, the Bus Stop #12 is a 2min walk and a popular pick-up spot for many tour companies. I would recommend this apartment for any family traveling - I felt like you got a lot more than a hotel for no extra cost. The apartment could easily accommodate a larger family utilizing the sofa bed (but I would call it more of a futon) and there is also a very long couch. Overall, the apartment is in a great location, very clean and an easy walk to most attractions in the City.

Only stayed here for 2 weeks while traveling. There was a drain in our bathroom that caused our whole apartment to smell like sewage. Not sure if this floor drain is in all the apartments and if all apartments get the smell. Just something to consider if you know what I'm talking about

I had made a booking at the Sif Apartments recently for my family of 5. Just before starting our journey, official weather warnings were stipulated by the meteorological office of Iceland stating dangerous conditions of winds of over 140km/h. Due to this, we cancelled our trip to Iceland completely. The Sif Apartments kept the whole amount paid of over 500€ and did not give any consideration to the dangerous weather situation. Even if the booking did not have a refund option, a hotel should show some courtesy when dangerous situations arise leading to masses of flight cancellations etc.

I don't recommend this place for their lack of courtesy and empathy and their monetary focus.

Four of us stayed in apartment 507 with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. So hard to find 2bed 2 baths in Iceland. Very nice, new and large modern apartments. We love it. Kitchen facilities good with everything you need and it has separate washer, dryer which is so useful. Parking right downstairs on the Street (P2) was easy too. Underground parking is expensive. Easy walk to shopping street and restaurants. Highly recommend

Estupendo apartamento. Toda la información facilitada muy correcta y muy completa, con todos los pasos a seguir y con toda la información para sacarle el máximo partido a la estancia. Maravillosa ubicación; justo al lado de paradas de bus de excursiones, a un paso del centro y del puerto, justo al límite de la zona de parking regulada por lo que puedes dejar el coche cerca si no quieres pagar parking interior ni exterior y en una zona tranquila realmente. Limpieza maravillosa con alguna pequeña excepción pero no reseñable. Una pega, que no al alojamiento, si no a la empresa que gestione los contenedores soterrados, el de plástico estaba atascado y tuvimos que buscar otro al final de la calle donde dejarlo, y no es tarea fácil porque es muy seria la cuestión del reciclaje. ¡Volveremos seguro!

Great place to stay in Reykjavík. Close to plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, etc.
nicely furnished apartment with a balcony for around the same price as a nice hotel.
Highly recommended.

This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed! The apartment is very clean in a prime location. Parking is very easy however you can walk to almost anything from there. The bed was very comfortable and after a long flight, it was wonderful to lay down in such a great bed. Would definitely recommend!
