Íbúðin var fín og rýmri en við áttum vona á, fínn kostur fyrir fjölskyldu sem er á ferðinni. Notalegt umhverfi allt í kring og gaman að geta smellt sér á Grænu könnuna og í verslunina Veru þar sem hægt er að kaupa fallegt handverk sem unnið er á Sólheimum.

Topp staður, gómsætur matur,fallegt skógi vaxið umhverfi ,góð svefnaðstaða í kyrrð og ró Sólheima ☀️ Uniqe place to relax ,eat good food and enjoy ? Tómat súpa Sólheima slær súpu Friðheima út.

Dásamleg vin í eyðimörkinni. Mæli með heimsókn í búðina þar sem varningur og listmunir íbúanna eru seldir.

Guest house pulita e Ben organizzata , super spaziosa e completa di tutto . Cucina enorme con una super isola , c’è anche una sala con divano tv . Il bagno è pulito, doccia un po’ antiquata e lavandino che non scarica molto però nel complesso va bene

Nous avons aimé ce lieu insolite et en pleine nature.|Nos chambres étaient spacieuses et la lit confortable.|Nous avons apprécié mangé dans la cuisine collective où nous avons rencontré des personnes très sympas. En revanche j’aurais apprécié trouver plus d’ustensiles dans notre cuisine ne serait-ce que pour le petit-déjeuner et pour éviter de traverser tout le dortoir au petit matin.

We were a large group of 13 people who enjoyed the clean and bright rooms. All the rooms/small apartments lived up to our expectations and everything worked fine. In addition it was especially nice to have a common living room where we could all gather in the evening. The breakfast was also great and the surroundings/small village interesting to see, with the great focus on sustainability. Positive recommendation from here!

Stanza molto ampia con bagno privato all'interno di una guesthouse dove è possibile condividere la cucina e alcuni spazi comuni. Struttura all'interno di un villaggio solidale. Colazione presso la caffetteria del villaggio con ampia scelta di salato e non molto per il dolce. Possibilità di parcheggio. La struttura ha comunicato via mail come effettuare il check-in ed il check-out. Davvero molto tranquillo.||Preferirei avere una reception per tutte le pratiche. Non è stato semplice trovare la stanza perché il villaggio ha più strutture e solo poco prima dell'arrivo ho ricevuto le istruzioni per la camera. Ristoranti per la cena a qualche Km.|

This Ecovillage was a precious stop along the way to the highlands. We greatly enjoyed exploring the grounds which are well maintained and beautiful. We jumped on the trampoline for hours, grabbed a coffee at the cafe, enjoyed grocery shopping at the on-site store and preparing our own meal in a well equipped kitchen! The store was small but had everything you could need: we made chickpea curry and vegan « duck meat » and grilled eggplant sandwiches with fresh tomatoes grown right at Sólheimar! It was an extremely tranquil space and we felt right at home. The receptionist was very helpful. Not to mention all the innovative designs of the community homes. As an ecological designer, it was lovely to see like-minded designs being implemented in a community setting. Other guests were friendly for the most part, and it really made me feel like I could live in an Ecovillage at some point. The beds were comfortable, the shower was large, and the space was very well heated. Such an artistic space with fun quirks to explore. We loved it here. Also…this was our first close up with the blooming lupins!
