Superbe endroit au milieu de nulle part. Calme absolu. Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre chambre 2 adultes 1 enfant. Les parties communes sont super aussi. Le petit déjeuner offert peu de choix mais super sympa de l offrir. |Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits.|En revanche personnel peu ou pas présent et je n'ai pas retrouvé du tout la sympathie évoqué dans certains messages.

It is a beautiful apartment located in beautiful surroundings. The rooms were lovely. The kitchen was very well equipped. We stayed there for two nights on 25th-26th August, and we got to see the northern lights in the night.|Beautiful scenery and beautiful place.|One of us accidentally left their kindle at the property, and the owners were very kind and delivered the kindle to Reykjavík where we were staying. Above and beyond great service. Highly recommended.|Wish we stayed here longer!!

Debido a una catástrofe natural: un conjunto de sismos en el glacial que trasladó el agua del glacial hacia aguas abajo dejando inútil un puente desde nuestra ubicación al alojamiento y por tanto, impidiendo el único paso que teníamos hacia el alojamiento (la otra opción era dar la vuelta completa a la isla); nos impidió el poder alojarnos allí. Se ve que cada par de años ocurre. Lo comunicamos al alojamiento que era imposible el acceso desde nuestra ubicación y que no nos podíamos alojar y nos dieron las gracias por avisar. Cuando gestionamos la devolución nos comunica el alojamiento que no es su responsabilidad y que no devuelven nada acogiéndose a las políticas de las condiciones particulares (era tarifa no reembolsable). Dejando de lado las condiciones generales de los alojamientos con booking que recomiendan el reembolso o la reubicación.

Avisados estáis, es vuestra responsabilidad que os pueda pasar lo mismo si reserváis en este lugar.

Beautiful landscape, the room was not really comfortable, we missed some place to put the suitcase, but they have everything in the kitchen to cook your own meal if you want.

I found this to be an odd property/hotel. I expected to be staying in one of the cabin'like places, but instead I was in room #4 inside the dining room/check-in area/kitchen.
It was SUPER echo'ey - I had to tuck the shower mat under the door because it was so super noisy. I could hear everything from everyone that entered that check-in area. Which included the kitchen, people clanking around plates, utencils, pans, & such.
I didn't feel comfortable showering because it was a weird corner tiny area & seemed to be so close to the toilet.
There wasn't a TV or window I could look out of - the one window was super tall & was to the backyard it appeared, but just of the grass, because of the hill, this was more like a basement room.
Decor was cute, beds were comfy. Location was OK - the pot holes down that unpaved road were super annoying!
There isn't a walkway to tote luggage in/out, which was inconvenient.
I was hoping to see some cows - but I only saw them at a far distance one of the several times I wanted to escape the room. I felt rather closter phobic in that room.
Sorry, but I wouldn't stay here again.

An amazing experience! The receptionist was very welcoming. The hostel provides a full kitchen and breakfast with cereal, butter and milk. It is also such a cozy place otherwise.

This was a wonderful place to stay - a very nice family-run accommodation in a beautiful location. My wife and I loved it.
