I booked a rental full suspension bike with Tyler to do some mountain biking and it was a great experience! Tyler had my bike and gear ready, and gave me great information on the local bike trails. To get to the single tracks, it’s a pretty tough climb up but well worth it. Luckily my girlfriend didn’t want to bike and was able to give me a ride up the mountain 4 or 5 times. The trails are some of the best I’ve ever ridden and have great flow and downhill sections.

Tyler and I had a great chat and has an awesome bike shop for rentals, equipment, and repairs. Highly recommended and would definitely come back!

The Fjord Hub is a wonderful little shop. Tyler is great to work with and they have an excellent selection of bikes. We rented gravel bikes for a local adventure ride that were perfect. Tyler had recommendations for routes and was super helpful with local information.

They also offer bike packing trips for groups that I will be sure to take advantage of with more friends. Totally recommend this place.

My partner and I didn’t have the time this trip to do the complete Westfjords Way, so we contacted Tyler at the Fjord Hub to rent bikes for 3 days and do “a best of tour.” What a wonderful experience. He set us up with bikes, information on our routes, and tips on where to stop for coffee, treats, and general enjoyment. He was incredibly gracious in helping us figure out the logistics for returning the bikes, and we serendipitously passed him on the road, where we did a mid fjord bike swap, further easing our time crunch. And when we realized a day later we still had one of his helmets, he pointed us to a great stop near by that we could leave it for him to pick up at a later date. Those are all the fun bike related things, but what we enjoyed the most was talking to him about Iceland, his vision for the shop, and all the Westfjords have to offer. We can’t wait to come back, and I hope folks that are interested in slowing down for even a day or 2 reach out to Tyler, get a bike, enjoy moving through the beautiful landscape up there.

Tyler and Fjordhub made sure that we had the trip of a lifetime cycling around the Westfjords. We've done a lot of cycling in other places - Pyrenees, Alps, Morocco, Scotland etc etc - but Westfjords is something else. Unbelievable! We happened to have stunning weather every day but the area would be stunning in any condition.

Not only did Tyler provide awesome bikes that were perfect for the terrain, but his knowledge about the area was completely invaluable. Definitely take him up on getting a bit of advice about routes / passes / weather etc. He also went massively out of his way to help e.g. we left our pedals on the bikes, so he swung over to where we were staying to drop them off.

I can't recommend this trip more highly. Whilst you need a bit off a sense of adventure, there are plenty of options for everyone here! I suspect I'll even bring back with my kids one day.

Epic riding around Isafjordur. Tyler recommended and mapped out a great ride up to Bolafjall, thru the town of Boldungarvik. Interestingly the old highway is very ridable, and provides a smooth car free path.

The giant gravel bike I rented for a modest fee was great and well tuned. The staff were quick to help me with any needs and fitment.

A great place to rent a bike, and some really amazing riding both for the adventures and those looking for a nice bike ride along the coast. Highly recommend if hopping off a cruise ship for a few hour ride!

Tyler was fantastic. His bikes are great, his service is fantastic, and he has lots of things in the shop to choose from. He made it very easy for us and he’s very knowledgeable about the local area. We will definitely use him again.

Made a quick stop to rent a bike here. Wade and Frey we’re super helpful and friendly. They helped me fit my bike, put some SPD pedals on, and gave me great directions on where to go for a quick gravel bike. Just really great people and a great location. Beautiful country to cycle in and I highly recommend renting your bike from this shop! Here’s a couple pictures from the ride.
