Hôtel correct.|Les chambres sont spacieuses mais on sent que la rénovation a surtout été un coup de peinture même si la décoration a beaucoup de charme.|Nous avions deux chambres et dans la notre, pas de chauffage (il ne faisait pas froid pour autant mais il y avait du chauffage dans celle de nos enfants).||Les bains chauds sont agréables et parfaits pour se délasser. Mais ils ne sont pas à la même température et l'un est vraiment trop chaud.||4/5 parce qu'on nous avait attribué une chambre en face de nos enfants, avec un surclassement visiblement. Et finalement, on nous a mis une chambre plus loin, sans le surclassement (pourtant accessible grâce à notre statut Hôtels.com...).||Dommage. Ça gâche l'impression générale qui était bien.

Siamo arrivati qui dopo il giro del circolo d'oro, è un comodo punto di arrivo o di partenza. L'hotel è molto bello, le camere sono super accoglienti e c'è la possibilità di accedere direttamente dalla camera ad un cortile interno dove sono presenti anche delle vasche con acqua calda a disposizione per gli ospiti. Da qui siamo riusciti a vedere l'aurora boreale! Anche la cena e la colazione ottime!

The room was clean and cozy but the bathroom was small and not very comfortable. The breakfast had just the basic food you usually find in islandic hotel, but it wasn't very good. I don't recommend to have dinner there: we had a burger, which was clearly frozen, but sold has home made food. You should also consider that the village in which the hotel is situated is quiet isolated. You should go there just if you need an hotel in that area, but I wouldn't plan my trip in order to go there.

Excellent hotel with super friendly staff. They were so kind to bring me an extra roll-away bed after my kids fell asleep in both the beds of our room so I didn't have to move them (and they set it up without waking the kids!)

Every room had a small private outdoor space. When we saw the Northern Lights out our window from bed I was able to quickly hop outside through the backdoor of our room to get some great photos!

This is not the review I wanted to write - unfortunately I cannot recommend staying at this hotel if you are a person of color. For context: my partner and I are American, I am white and my partner is visibly brown. After our stay I cannot help but feel the hotel was racist. ||Check in was fine at first but something felt off. The front desk attendant would not make eye contact with my partner, and whenever she asked a question, the desk attendant turned and told me. ||The real issues came when we came to eat at the hotel restaurant. My partner was the only non white person at the restaurant when this happened. The service we received was evidently worse than the tables around us. ||One table sat 30-45 minutes after us and got served before us. One of their entrees was the exact same as ours and the other entree we got was an appetizer from the starters menu!!! They got a hot entree. We did not get served for at least 15 minutes after them. We sat as servers went around checking in with each table and just walking past us. When their plates were cleared they got asked about dessert, ate it, and then left all before our plates were cleared. When they came to clear our plates they did not bother to ask if we wanted dessert and we continuously tried to get the server’s attention but they didn’t even look at us! The couple that sat at the same time left an hour before us. ||At first we thought maybe this was some kind of anti-American prejudice, which is understandable, I guess, Americans can be obnoxious. But nope, the table behind us was American, and they received doting service. ||In the end it’s that disparity in service that really got to me. If the kitchen was slow and the servers didn't have time to check on tables that would have been fine. The food was pretty good and we would have been okay waiting for it. But the clear difference in the way every other diner was treated in the restaurant from the only table with a non-white diner was impossible to look past. I hope it was something else but going over it again the only rationale I can think of for the way we were treated was racism.

Fantastic hot tubs. Slept amazingly well in very comfortable beds. There was a huge new Samsung TV in the room. Everything looks new and fresh after renovations. The breakfast has a good selection. It did take a while to find the front door because of the map pins. Friendly staff who gave us advice on driving in the upcoming storm.

Great location and food. Lovely views from dining room. Rooms lovely with large wall TV. Friendly and professional staff. Hot tubs in the central garden adjacent to rooms. Access from bathroom to hot tubs great changing and showering. Would stay again

Bel hôtel où nous avons passé une nuit. Accueil chaleureux personnel agréable. Décoration bois chaleureuse. Bain chaud extérieur (2) bien agréable. Situation parfaite pour un circuit sud Islande. Chambre calme. Nous n’avons pas testé le petit déjeuner.
